Good location near main streets and beach, but still quiet. Rooms are somewhat dated but still clean and well equipped. Pool area was great. Pool closes at 7pm and rooms could be modernised. We travelled as a group and had a mixture of Superior and Deluxe rooms. While all were clean and reasonably equipped, none looked like the pictures on the website which are obviously for updated rooms. The hotel's location is good and is definitely good value for money.

great customer service, value for money and clearly the best hotel to stay at in patong, the staff went out of the way to help all the time The staff were fantastic and very well presented, they went out of the way to help with any transport needs and they were really friendly, the food was awesome especially breakfast.
The hotel surroundings were beautiful and well manicured and clearly the best hotel in patong
Hotel Feature Tip : Ask for Tony the Limousine driver across the road near 7 11 top bloke took us to all the places in Patong

Nice room,spacious and clean, beside the bathroom.
Good large pool and very close to all points of interests. Staff need to improve drastically The hotel is close approximity to the beach and the nightlife scene. Everything can be reached in walking distance. The room itself is spacious and clean. We could step out of the room and stand in front ofthe pool. The bathroom is pretty small.
The staff, specially at the reception desk needs strong improvement. There was no greeting while arriving as well as no smile. We felt as we wouldn't b e welcome at all. At our departure the same story again. After complaining that they organized a small taxi instead of a large taxi, the strated to be really rude. arguing that this is not there fault and bla, bla, bla and if I want to complain further I can do so with the Manager. I was reallu upset with those 2 ladies at thereception. No friedly word from them at all.
I need to reconsider if I really wanna go there again, even the hotel itself was good, but I think the staff should be alright too.

Clean grounds and room, friendly staff, breakfast is included. Make sure you get receipts when you pay for room service as they tried to charge us twice. It's a very nice hotel - well located close to the busy areas of Patong Beach. It's about a 5 minute walk to Bangla Road and it's right near the beach. The rooms are clean and there are 2 good sized pools on the grounds. They have happy hour at the pool bar from 5pm to 7pm where they sell half price drinks. All the staff were friendly and helpful.
Shopping Tip : There are lots of handy shops nearby, including an internet cafe that charges 1 Baht per minute.

swimming pool , hotel staff the check in process was so smooth and per my request.we had a welcome drink upon arrival.my kids had lovely time in the pool.

Best location, good room size, great breakfast buffet Water in walkways when rained. We liked the hotel. The staff was very helpful and curtious. It was raining the day we got there. There was lots of water in front of our room in the lobby. We asked the front desk to change our room and they did it rightaway. Actually they gave us a choice of 4 rooms. Very pleased with the staff. This is a good location. Many good restaurants in walking distance.

all the staff were very friendly, and the location was good right next to bangla rd they charged 100b to use the internet on their computers for 30min witch were very slow. the thara patong resort and spa was a pritty descent resort all the staff were very happy and friendly, it was also inexpensive. it has tow big main pools with a shallow kids pool connected to each one. i think it would be great for a family to go to. the downside is they charge you 1000b if you want someone to stay the night, and 100b to use their internet witch were both free at another hotel i stayed at witch was nearby.also their gym is real small and bad but their is the patong gym only 500m down the street witch is good and has a sauna. word

Big resort. A lot of swimming pools. Location. Location is great. Many swimming pools within the resort, but Patong beach is next door!!! Rooms look really old, but good value for money. Restaurant was ok.

not far from jungcylon shopping center and bang-la road, 5-10 minutes. airconditioning did not work well.
poor staff performance - didnt care and didnt smile.
they didnt fill up the breakfast buffet because it was almost 10 o'clock ( breakfast close at 10.30 ) i was upgraded to stay at the premier room but it wasnt all i expected it to be. the room was old and the bathroom was old. when we enter the hotel we didnt feel welcome by the hotel staff at all. it takes about 5 min walk from the hotel to the beach.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : expect phuket to be expensive, the food, the tour, the taxi ride - everything is expensive.

good location & nice swimming hotel staff service is not good very very good location & 2 nice swimming pool.
breakfast is good. the superior room just ok & better pay litter more to stay at the deluxe room. Just 2 mins to the beach by walk, & 5-10 mins to the Bar & shopping area. There is a lot of family mart & cheap dining around the resort. i am sure i will come back again.

Two huge pools and two children’s pools as well.
Great breakfast spread.
Friendly staff.
Just far away enough to be quiet but only a short walk to the beach. (2 minutes)

Coffee is strange at morning breakfast.
Getting more and more expensive each year.
Overall It is a great hotel. I spoke to other people who are staying and they agree too. I have stayed at this hotel 4 times now. It gets more and more expensive each year but my wife and I always have had a good time here. My nine year old daughter meets new friends to play with each time she comes and she has met friends from previous years too!
All and all, we had a wonderful time!
Hotel Feature Tip : The hotel might try to place you in the lowest quality room possible. If you complain, they tend to move you to a newly available better room

The 3 swimming pools, friendly staff, clean rooms and location There was a slight methane gas smell in our room... This is a great hotel, we'd def stay here again. It's in a fantastic location- close to the beach and nightlife. The staff a excellent and always willing to help. The welcome drink and refresher towel upon your arrival was also a bonus.
We were given a free upgrade upon our arrival. We loved our room- newly renovated. The only concern was that there was a slight methane gas smell in our room but we eventually got used to the smell and didn't end up complaining.
Best thing about the hotel was the pool area. So much fun! Out of our trip, this hotel was the best value for money.

Exceptional hotel in every way , service , location , facilities etc ... Quite possibly the best hotel my wife and I have had the privilege of staying in . Would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Patong in Phuket . The location of the Thara Patong was great for all purposes such as shopping , wether it be the small shops or the air conditioned American-type Malls , bars , clubs , restaurants and the beach .
