I am not very happy with the stay, due to the cons mentioned, and I will not stay there again. Prices where good but it was clearly compensated by charging outrageous prices for all other services.

Ok rooms in a nice area

Long way to walk from room to lobby. 400 Baht for coffee is a rip off. Advertised with a Patong Beach location, it is clearly not close to Patong beach.

A Pleasant Stay In a Calm Place Guest Rating: 4.8

Have been in the hotel for one night only and it has been a wonderful experience. The hotel crew was gentle and was very patient to explain everything we had to know regarding transportations. The rooms were also great (with big jacuzzi and a big safe in it). The breakfast started early enough for us to eat (6:30AM) and to get the ferry to Phi-Phi. We really enjoyed the stay.

Not too far from the center of Phuket island. Very nice, vast pool-side rooms, with large jaccuzi and perfect treats. The food is also great.

No cons.

I love everything about Thavorn Patong! The staff were friendly, the place was clean. A great place to stay! I will be back soon.

The private beach is a superb place for a getaway, even though you are in the busy town of Patong. Lush surroundings and peaceful environment made my trip such a wonderful one.

A little bit far away from Patong, and I thought I was lost, as I rented a car myself. But this isn't really a problem. Entrance to the hotel was a bit small though.

This hotel overall is good, near to beach with a big swimming pool, I stay at beach villa room, the breakfast is also good.

This hotel is an oasis of beauty, service, tranquility,happiness. It is beautiful. Some of the senior staff have a cold attitude and not very helpful.Bar & resataurant staff are amazing,we miss them and their smiles & helpfulness.We will go again it is stunning & we loved the food. You pay more than 3 /4 times what you will for even a beer in town but it's handed to you I guess! Stunning overall, we adored it and recovered well from long trekking holiday prior to our stay. We loved the band that played each night, they are fantastic.

The staff, the band, the view, the layout. The tranquility, the cleanliness. The standard of food in the restaurants. Mostly the beautiful staff though. Unforgettable.

Toilet in our bungalow was terrible. Constant blocking for no reason. Terrible smell. Also poor internet service should be free. Poor infrequent shuttle service to Patong. Gym was unhygenic and poorly equipped.

• Restaurant Tip : Eat in Patong it is one third the price when you want a change of location. Do not book hotel taxi it is almost double charged, very unfair. Stay longer than you intended, it is worth it!

Great Resort for a peaceful holiday Guest Rating: 3.5

I enjoyed staying at this resort. The cats at the area were even very friendly and they are taken care of very well. The location is tough. Phuket is very different from Bangkok in terms of transportation costs. There is an elephant farm nearby the area.

This place is wonderful. It's on a private beach and the service is wonderful.

Location, Location, Location. That is the only downfall of this hotel. The hotel location is not the best.

Thavorn has amazing grounds and the best location for peace around Patong. We are a couple who likes quiet and yet still want to remain close to the action and are willing to pay the 250-300 baht to get there- so Thavorn was ideal for us with its nice setting. The rooms are good, nothing to flash but practical and if in the off season great value! The staff and pools are a highlight of this place, if we were to return to the Patong area we would head straight back to Thavorn.

Great location-quiet beach, out of the chaos of Patong yet accessible. Grounds and staff.

• Restaurant Tip : Some of the best food we ate in Thailand was from the side stall and mini sit down resturants - dont get stuck and be too safe- for you miss out on great food and great experiences at outrageous prices - so cheap!

got there and the reception was really friendly she even took us to our room and explain every single places and buttons in the room. the room is so amazing. we got out own jacuzzi in the room with beach view. swimming pool was very very huge! it has 2 bars/restaurant. all the staff are very friendly. the breakfast was good too. what really makes us not happy is the beach. it was very rocky.

the room is just amazing!!! very spacious!!! make sure you get the poolside view or villa or bungalow because the standard room are far high up on the mountain...

the beach are private but it it rocky... no way anyone can swim in it

Amazing Thavorn Beach and spa resort Guest Rating: 3.7

We found the Thavorn resort just as expected thanks to the Internet. The resort is huge and beautiful, in the counterpart, it is far from Patong, but you can go there with the free shutlle. But you have to go back to the hotel by yourself. You can stay at the resort and have the choice between a traditional Thai, Japanese and International restaurant. The buffet breakfast is various and the staff very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful environment, friendly staff.

The air conditioner in our room was very noisy, the room very humid due certainly to the weather. Water coming from a well is often brown.
