Great Ocean view & really peaceful
Quiet Private beach is the best

overall nice & beautiful.
some staffs not so helpful.. think it is due to language problem.
they do not speak good english.
need to have free wi fi in room & reception area.
information on taxi fares to places are not so accurate.
good dining service.

Great place to rest and enjoy the view
Quiet, large beach, nice restaurants, not too far from Patong

spent 3 relaxing days enjoying the local amenities (spa, swimming pool, table tennis, beach...).
great also for day trips on phuket other places.
ocean view villas have a fabulous scenery and a jacuzy to enjoy it further!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Diving or Game fishing not too far
Night life in Patong

I like the quiet environment that you find at the Thavorn. Everything is cared for and well managed. I know Phuket very well and I was enchanted by this resort,the architecture of it, the detailed natural arrangements. It's beauty everywhere you set your eyes.

not happy with booking in process,cut back in courtesy bus operatreion,stayed at resort on previous occasions,service is deteoriating.room comfortable but most days room serviced late in day which was an inconvienience.pool and other recreational facilities wereof good standard.dining and entertainment also good.staff were always friendly and helpfull.

the grounds were beautiful but the rooms were in poor conditon with very hard beds and didn't get cleaned until well after 4pm! food wasn't the best.breakfast was good

Great value. Good for romantic getaway

This is a great place for families or romantic couples. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the surroundings are beautiful. The ocean villas however are a bit far and inconvenient to get to them and the views from the villas are mostly obstructed by trees unless you are very high up. The rooms are very clean and the breakfast buffet has a good selection. The resort is also far away from all the noisy and busy streets of Patong.
What i really found inconvenient is that you have to pay for internet access by the hour. They should at least have free wifi access in the lobby. Another disadvantage is that you have to take a taxi every time you want to go out. It's 300 baht one way to Patong where all the shopping and night life are located. So the taxi fees add up pretty quickly if you are staying for a few days. Also, they charge about 3000 baht if you bring an unregistered guest to your room. I guess that's to keep the resort more exclusive to families and couples.
So this hotel is good if you just want to relax and spend some quite time on the beach. It's not for bachelors who want to party and go out every night.

Very nice hotel Nakalay bay is beautiful but it is one of those hotels where everything is abit expensive and you cant just walk down the road to the shops . You need transport.
Restaurant Tip:
dont use the milk in the jugs on the tables at breakfast.

Great location on private beach. Large clean room well equipped.

Smart hotel with beautiful grounds and garden. The breakfast is very good, plenty to choose from and in a peaceful setting.A little out of the way for popping to other local sites but the free bus helps.Being a large hotel you have to remember how long it takes to get back to your room. Would stay again.
