beautiful piece of property and the staff was amazing.
drinks and food at the hotel were very expensive we were paying $7 a drink and beer.
This hotel was amazing you feel like your in a beautiful village with a wonderful pool. The pool was so big and very nice we were able to go in the pool at anytime. The pool bar was great and we met some great people and the staff were like family at the end. The only thing that was of any issue is the cost of everything from food to drinks. Your going to pay western prices and I came to Thailand for cheap things. We ended up going to the store and buying our own bottle of vodka and beer. Other then at it's a great place to stay. If you stay in the deluxe rooms will be going by a pull car so it could take sometime to get down and up to your room but it's fun and we had a blast with the guys who work it. The hotel was very nice and I would stay here again we enjoyed our stay. It's only about 5 to 10 minutes from Patong and you don't want to stay in Patong because it's loud and very dirty.
Nightlife Tip : Patong is like in between Las Vegas and Mexico. It's smelly and sleazy but it's fun to experience it.

Great location on the beach
Beautiful surrounding
Great hospitality
Ants and other creatures in the room
Poor bathroom
The hotel is located in a beautiful place on the beach and the hotel is really has a great view and the filling is really like in a jungle. The swimming pool is beautiful, the breakfast is very good, the rooms are big and the hospitality is nice, however the maintenance of the room is very poor especially the bathroom which is very old and un modern. The worst thing in the room are all kind of creatures-Ants all over the bathroom and on the first night we found a
10 cm centipede "walking" along the room.

5 star resort. Excellent ambience.
Little far from the Patong beach center.
The best hotel/resort during our Thailand trip. Worth every penny. The pool view rooms are excellent. The ocean view villas are not upto the mark. They have a private beach and its amazing. Guests staying in the ground floor of the pool view rooms have private access to the pool, they can just open their door and get in the pool directly. The pool is one of the best i've seen. The food and bar is good. The way they have constructed the whole resort is a site to see. The spa is one of its kind, a bit expensive thought.
Hotel Feature Tip : Make full use of the Sauna, jaccuzzi, pool and the beach.

Quiet, Beachfront, Beautiful gardens, good service
beachfront bungalow quality, transport to patong
Check in simple and staff all very friendly. Beautiful, relaxing surroundings. Found the beachfront bungalows were a little run down (even for 3 star rating). Airconditioning and two lights did not work on arrival, but were fixed relatively quickly. Complimentary buffet was extensive, but uninspiring, except for the ommelettes and the surroundings. Thai restaurant excellent. Only two free shuttle buses per day (both of which were to small to fit everyone in. No access to local cabs, so had to pay fixed price for a taxi to patong and to the airport which was far greater than the usual.

Very pretty surroundings and wonderful pool.
Staff very unhelpful and appeared grumpy. Depending where your room is can be a very long walk to the reception and restaurant. Long way from town
Staff very unhelpful and there english was very hard to understand. Is about 15mins drive from town and taxi's are expensive. Hotel beach is very rocky and did not see anyone using it. Hotel restaurants very expensive as was everything in the hotel. Hotel cares more about the gardens than the rooms. Had no hot water & bathroom flooded daily plus water came under the door when it rained and window did not shut. Do not book taxi's from hotel if possible as they charged me a lot more that any in the town. If you stay in this hotel you will need to hire a car or bike to get around as it is not near to anything.
Nightlife Tip : Ho nightlife at this hotel you will need to go into town where the night life goes on as long as you want it to but is about 15mins drive away.

Welcome/fair well cold "Kra Jieb" juice. Good Thai food (very delicious). Room very nice and cheaper rate compare w/ room fee in the US.
no replacement in a bowl of water flower in my room. The same bowl displayed from the day I arrived and left (saw rotten plant floating).
Cart cable has only 5 cables to pull us up to the room, it should be 6 cables together, this is hazadous.
Beautiful scenery, if we are to go again we will pick the bangkalow instead of the ocean view on the 4th floor. The bangkalow is beach front and cheaper. Nice beach, good services, good food.
Restaurant Tip : Don't tip since 10% service charge included. Stay in Bangkalow beach front so you can step out to the beach anytime. Don't eat lobster there, it's too expensive and it doesn't have craw (strange).

Wonderful suroundings which are very quiet.
There is a beach but the worst beach that I saw in Thailand and nobdy used it while I was there. Hotel very expensive for everything and no shops near by. Town is about 15 minutes drive away.
It has a beach but is full of rocks and the sand is like grit. Most rooms are a very long walk from anything. No nightlife in the hotel. Restaurants in hotel are very expensive and there is nothing in walking distance of this hotel. Hotel staff very unhelpful and do not understand enlish well and is very hard to understand what they say to you when they do talk to you. Gardens are well kept but this can not be said for the bungalows; my window did not shut, there was no hot water, the bathroom flooded daily and there was a big gap under the door that frog & lizards came in through. Rain came in when it rained.

Beautiful and almost on the beach. Pretty little bungalows but limited facilities like internet or telefone. So close to the water maker the place very damp and even if it is clean, it gets difficult to get rid of the sand. Worth to go thinking on a beach break.

location, big swimming pool, good food, big rooms, nice bathroom
Room by the pool a little smells with oldness. expencive food and spa
Hotel has beautifull location in rain-forest garden, 3mins to Patong beach by motobike, in the silent place. Room was big, clean toillet and bathroom, fresh flowers averyday. Room a little smells, and feather bed smells too, sometimes too much. Services, like shop, restaurant to expencive, better to 3 mins walking distant restaurant. Spa also expencive. After all, I can recomaind this hotel, the mega swiming pool beat everything. Nice (but not first class) snorkeling directly on the beah 10m from hotel. Pingpong and fittness in good condition. Breakfest excelent.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Snorkeling around, I recomnd to borrow motorbike. Its everything much more closer

Huge rooms, clean hotel, free usage of the sauna, steam and Jacuzzi. Staff freindly.
Getting through to reception took ages, no nearby places to eat.
Thavorn Beach and Spa was a lovely hotel. We had booked a garden view room and upon arrival we were upgraded to a sea view room, which was a pleasant surprise. The rooms were massive, so definitely good value for money. Breakfast buffet was good, huge variety. The hotel was about a 10-minute drive away from Patong beach, and you could only use the hotel taxis. On the way back you could use a Tuk Tuk but they do try and overcharge you. Do not pay more that 200thb. Overall we had a great stay at this hotel and would definitely come back.

The gardens and swimming pool area were excellent and very well maintained. The hotel was always clean and looked like a holiday magazine. The staff were very friendly and keen to assist. Beautiful safe location with good bay views.
We lost a lot of time waiting for the one and only cable car that was working, this is not good enough and many other guests complained about this to us. Prices were a little expensive compared to other locations in the area. Please stop people smoking in the restaurants, this is the normal practice now in Australia and other developed nations. Air con unit not very good in my room compared to some other rooms. The gym needs upgrading and can only handle one or two people. The tea and coffee was not replaced when used or when the rooms were serviced.
We were a party of 12 people from Australia and from the start were very impressed with the quality of the hotel along with the pool and grounds that the complex is situated in. We found the prices a little expensive compared to the general area. We made good use of the taxi service and were able to barter good prices travelling around. The swimming pool is excellent and one of the best, we spent a lot of time relaxing around the bar situated within the pool. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of food available. The beach was clean and safe to swim in when the tide was in otherwise the rocks made it unsafe during low tide, but use the pool. The rooms were very clean and well maintained and the cable TV worked well.
Shopping Tip : The staff were able to tell us where to go shopping and where the bargains could be found.

No shop where you could buy anything and a taxi ride was needed to get to the local town of Patong.
Saw the pictures on the internet and but did not justify what a beautiful place. Traditional Thai apartments set in the side of the mountain with outstanding views. Own private beach and the pool was excellent. A piece of heaven for a relaxing holiday. Just a little too far to walk to Patong town but taxis were readily available and Tuk Tuks were on hand 24.7.
Restaurant Tip : Eat at the local food halls for excellent value.

hideaway location, perfect territory, amazing rooms, friendly staff
during low tide you can see sea ground. however, you can swim in pool or go a hundred meters to berth, climb down on ladder and enjoy the sea :-)
It was a pleasure to stay in this place. Magic relaxation, wild flora, orchids, perfect sea view - that will surround you during your time on Naka beach. Hihly recommend Sea View villas with personal jacuzzi on open air. Location is perfect - 5-10 minutes on taxi from overcrowded nightlife of Patong. In a few words - one of a best place we saw in Thailand.
Hotel Feature Tip : magic spirit of paradise

we stayed in poolside view villa for 2 nights and we were very impressed by this beautiful room. The room is decorated in Thai style with a large balcony and washroom is also spacious with bathtub and windows to swimming pool.Breakfast is good. We rent a car so it's very easy to go to everywhere. It's about 5km to Patong beach so if you plan to rent a motorcycle or car, this hotel is a very good choice because you can't find any hotel in Patong beach has private beach and large swimming pool with the same cost.
