The Album hotel is centrally located, as well as being within two blocks of the beach. There is a nearly unlimited amount of shopping, dining and nightlife within blocks of the hotel. The local people of Phuket are very friendly. The hotel can help arrange transportation to any destination, including the airport. The hotel is modern in design and is very well staffed and maintained. Patong Beach is highly developed, but remote beaches are not far away. There are ample restaurants that feature fresh seafood each day. I would highly recommend the Album Hotel, as well as Patong Beach.

The hotel is no way as glamorous as the pictures. Maybe I got an old room, I don't know. The towels and linen had stains on them (although clean of course), the paint on both walls and doors was chipped. Both pool area and the room were in need of renovation, which left a negative impression on me as a visitor... So the hotel is definitely not fresh in any way. Also, the staff seems to be bored with their job and were not really friendly. I handed in my laundry for 60B/kilo, which I confirmed with the lady receiving it. When I came back there was a different lady in the reception and she gave me a bill for 70B/kilo and was clearly annoyed when I tried to reason with her. Funnily enough, there is a sign outside the hotel for 50B/kilo... Breakfast in this place is a disappointment - toast, jam, nutella, boiled eggs. Self-service. Definitely not a 3-star breakfast. Oh and it is quite noisy. Will not be staying again.

first image - it's small and hotel facility is really really common, nth impressive, but if u really settle down urself, u will feel actually not bad,and dont expect getting star lvl service while staying in a small hotel, overall still acceptable
Nightlife Tip:
Try the tiger entertainment there, good!

I have already stayed in the Album Hotel 2 years ago and returned because I liked the location and the hotel.
Now 2 years later the location is still good and the hotel rooms are still clean. But in the last 2 years the hotel has aged and they are not putting enough effort in maintaining the hotel: The AC in my room rattled, the shower curtain was mouldy at the fringes, light in the bathroom did not work etc.
All are no big problems and I was still happy with my staying there. But if they continue on this downward road, I would not want to stay there again next time.
Breakfast is minuscule.

Album was nice and clean , loved the jacuzzi on the roof. Everything I needed was in close proximity to the hotel and the all day free coffee in the lobby came in handy when we had those late nights. It was certainly great value for money, the only drawback is if you stay on a low floor the traffic noise might be bothersome if you are a light sleeper .
Nightlife Tip:
Do see the Simon cabaret if you want to try out something touristy, otherwise venture off the beaten track and explore the small beaches and coves around the island.

I stayed 3 nights and loved the place, very clean and simple, perfect location, walking distance to Bangla road, night life and beach, except little noise from the opposite school. many restaurants around. I will diffinetely choose same hotel on my next trip.
