The Aspasia Hotel Phuket Info
Recently built in the southern part of the island of Phuket, The Aspasia is a stylish boutique resort with an unusual retro-deco design with hints of Mayan-style architecture.
The muted yellow and green hues of the buildings blend exotically with the colors of the lush forest that sweeps down to Kata Beach. Each secluded apartment has stunning sea views, and guests only have a two minute walk to the white, sandy beach below. With the accent firmly lying on tranquility, comfort and contemporary style, The Aspasia Phuket offers a choice of superior accommodation and facilities that includes two restaurants, a wine and cigar shop, two swimming pools, a gymnasium, business center, meeting room, high-speed wireless internet access, and spa. Original paintings and antiques are displayed in the spa, restaurants and lobby, complementing the style of decor. There is easy access between the twelve buildings and facilities forming the resort. A good value hotel, but more 4* than 5*. Pleasant location and outlook, friendly staff, big and nicely designed rooms
Gym was well suited to a cardiovascular workout, but dumbells top-ended at 30kg, with no barbells, just one multi-purpose machine. Power supply in this more remote part of the island can be unreliable during rainy season - we lost power for 7 hours during the night / morning
The Aspasia is a really nice hotel in one of the more remote places you are likely to find in Phuket (is that an oxymoron?!) It has a lovely outlook from up on the hill across the beach and the bay to the headland opposite. The remote feel is further exacerbated by a "rabbit warren" feel. Rooms were very nice, beautifully designed, and nicely decorated, but not beautifully decorated. The large, round, showers and double hand-basins leant a very nice touch to the bathroom. Very comfortable bed and roomy balcony. Breakfast was pretty good, but all in all, I don't think it was quite good enough to warrant its five stars. Ideal for the traveller who doesn't want to immerse him/herself in the raucousness that is Phuket, preferring to keep it at an arms length (or rather a short taxi ride away, at least!)

Close to the beach
Fantastic staff
Great location
Everything you want in a luxury hotel
Walking up from the main area to the hotel is very steep
So we stayed in this hotel for about 3 nights and stayed in the superior sea view one bedroom suite.
What a view!
I can't fault this place. From the detail in the rooms to the friendly staff..
I would definitely stay here again!
When we arrived they even gave us a voucher for a dinner in the hotel restaurant (we are vegetarians and couldn't have the set menu - so they made us something completely different! Bless their hearts!) And they also gave us a voucher for a thai massage at the spa! I was not expecting this but it was a lovely touch.
The beach is only 5 mins away along a path that is may be difficult to go through if you are older or have children (but if you're young and fit there is no problem!) but you can also take the main path to the beach which will probably only take you 10 mins.
The location is great! If you've never been to Phuket before I think Kata beach is the best beach! Karon beach is too choppy and full of waves, Patgon beach is too full of tourists.. so this hotel which is 5 mins away from Kata beach is your best bet!
Only thing is that a taxi from this hotel to Patong is around 400 bhat (which is a bit of a rip off!) but hey.. you're not going to walk it!
Loved this place.. will deffo go back!

Lovely reception area and view. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast! Really enjoyed complimentary meal and massage during our stay. Also we were lucky enough to get a free upgrade. Up steep hill, taxis will charge a bit extra because of this. hard to find a sunbed that is not in the shade. Clean hotel, would definitely stay here again.
Restaurant Tip : Lovely restaurant in town, called two chefs, very reasonable and really tasty
