Average Hotel performance
Nice seaview and large room area. Food is above average. Swimming pool is fine and outdoor area is clean and tidy.
7.3
I will rate this hotel as average grade. The location is not really close to the shopping area but the taxi service charge is reasonable. The overall environment such as restaurant and swimming pool is nice and tidy. Of course there is some surprise for me such as vouchers for free dinner set and massage. I really appreciated. However, I think they can improve the additional facilities such as installing DVD player in the room because they did not have enough DVD players for lending. I have been waiting for three days but still nothing for me. There is no internet service access in my room during my stay. They just claimed that all cable was occupied until I complaint to the hotel manager. She said that the server was down. Internet service is really important in recent business world. Even the server was down, I think that the time period for fixing the problem is important too.

spanish style hotel
Very Private area,
Best to relax quietly
9.7
It is recommended for honeymoon couple. This is a sweet tranquil place. Complimentary of one night dinner which nice menu to select, and one hour free massage which has to reserve in advance. Then please trust me to buy more time for it as an hour is never enough. The therapists are expertise. There is a small gym room with modern sports machine confront the swimming pool and some beach vision. Television is set to consume some boring machine too.
Breakfast is variety comparing to the price, which is affordable. The hotel is located in a hill, if you walk to find other restaurants will take about 15 minutes. This is a different place from busy and noisy Patong Hotels. I'd love to come back again.
Shopping Tip:
Don't shop much in Phuket.
You can find the same goods in Bangkok : cheapest (low to normal quality ) one is Platinum (at Pra tu Nam Td.; or MBK Center in Phaya Thai Rd.)
Coconut juice in BKK is 15 to 20 Bht, in Phuket is 40 Bht.

Lovely hotel - would stay here again and again!
Rooms are amazing, at first I thought this was because we had been upgraded to a suite but friends stayed in garden view room and standard was the same but smaller floor space. Great views from the hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Food good, massage good, gym good! Its good!

A comfortable base with an amazing view.
View from sea view rooms, personally cooked breakfast, happy hour from 5-7pm each evening.
9.7
I have stayed at this hotel on three occasions. The rooms are huge and modern. Beds are comfortable and with good-quality bedding. Two-bedroom suites have a jacuzzi in the master bedroom.
The hotel is situated at the top of a very steep hill, but this does ensure uninterrupted views of Kata beach. It also means that you catch a nice breeze, even in the hot season.
Their hot season discounts are really good value. You can save more than 50 percent off the high season price.
Restaurant Tip:
There is an excellent Italian restaurant at the bottom of the hill. Although the hotel's restaurant is not cheap, their food is absolutely excellent.

beatiful views
clean room
high ground, but close to beach - short walk and close to town
friendly staff
greeted with a complimentary drink while we waited for the long check in process
good breakfast

Went to Kata because the on line reports mentioned this was a good surfing spot and board rentals were available, hotel staff didn't seem to know much about this nor could they recommend another beach where a surf board shop could be found. They were somewhat knowledgeable about the local restaurants. Overall, the hotel wasn't bad, I might consider staying there again.

First Visit To Phuket
Outstanding view of the Beach from the balcony of the suite as well as from the restaurant. Very spacious accomodations, very friendly and helpful staff.

All in we had a very positive experience staying at The Aspasia Hotel. We had a two bedroomed ocean view suite which had an awesome view of the beach from the balcony. The sweet was very spacious with two bathrooms, a powder room and a large jaccuzi in the master bathroom with oversize showers also. The beach access was a little bit of an obstacle course to get to assuming we were taking the preferred route, this could be improved considererably but don't know if this is the hotel's property or not.
The staff were very helpful at all times and I would personally recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to spend time in Phuket. I never ate dinner at the hotel but the breakfasts which were included in the room rate were quite acceptable. There are many good restauarant in the vicinity which can be reached with a short taxi ride.

Our Stay at The Aspasia
Stunning views, very large room, quiet and intimate.
8.3
Our stay at The Aspasia was a mixed experience. It was our first time travelling as a new family with our 6 month old baby and we booked The Aspasia hoping for a quieter hotel off the nightclub scene and were very taken with the pictures and descriptions at Agoda. We booked a Grand Garden Suite and it certainly lived up to its expectation in size and decor - it was really beautiful and very easy to spend time in. However, it is actually part of a two-bedroom option and the second bedroom is closed off by a large adjoining door which did not create a soundproof barrier. The result was that we could hear (literally) a pin drop next door. It made us feel awkward with the baby (who had jetlag the first few days). When we complained we were advised that the hotel was booked solid and they had no other option for us. We had three separate guests rotate during our week stay and had to work through asking all of them to keep the noise down for us. I just didn't expect this from a 5 star hotel suite.
Breakfast was good, the hotel is lovely, the location is very special and everyone is very friendly. However, it was little things that were a let down including a leaking toilet, DVDs from reception that were all copied and of poor quality and the steep hill climb. I did enjoy our stay and it is a lovely hotel but I am still unsure if it was really worth the money.

Stunning Views
Stunning views over Kata Beach, excellent buffet breakfast, great pool and lovely spa.
9
We loved our stay here. The view from the reception area is stunning, and we were greeted with a choice of drinks or cocktails and a cool towel. We were upgraded from a room to a one bedroom garden suite, which was exceptionally spacious, again with an amazing view. We also got a voucher for two evening meals (from a fixed menu) and two Thai massages (which were really good). The shortest route to the beach was down a steep path, but this was much quicker than the longer route. The road down to the town was also quite steep, but plenty of Tuk-Tuks available.
Restaurant Tip:
There's a Restaurant built into the cliff overlooking the beach - you have to scramble over rocks to get to it, but it's worth it! We went for the Thai food - delicious and cheap - but they had a good choice for the size of the place. Don't miss it.

great secluded area of the island yet close enough to be part of the action if desired. great ocean views and enjoyed the roof top mini pool. spacious rooms.
8.7
stylish and spacious rooms with views overlooking the ocean. STaff were very attentive and helpful with our requests. not overcrowded and had a romantic feel. idea for those on honeymoon or those who want privacy. had a fabulous meal at the in-house restaurant. liked the qirky spa in lower pool level. great sunset views to sample over happy hour - dont forget your camera to capture the moment. hire a moped or 4wd if you cant walk up or down hills because this place is on the top of a hill - but that is a bonus.
Restaurant Tip:
two chefs try the cabonara!

Good!
pool, breakfast, staff, view, room
10
We had a great time. The pool is very cozy and nice. The staff was nice and always willing to help. The breakfast was really good! The room is huge and decorated in good taste. The bed is big and very comfortable. The view is pretty. The only thing that was a bid disappointing was the way to the beach- through not very solid stairs. It didn't matter to us that much because we stayed only for one day but for people that plan to stay more it can be a pain.
Travel tip:
Don't take a tuktuk in to town if the charge you more than 50 baht. The walk down is very short and not hard at all (down hill). The way back is a bit more challenging (up the hill). But still I wouldn't pay more than 50 baht for it.
