We wished for my mother to move to a room closer to us, or somewhere with less steps or stairs since she have bad legs. We asked for this in the reception and he (the manager)said he would come back to us. But he never did.

Families with young children United States of America, February 10, 2013	Great hotel, lovely time Great room, great breakfast, nice pools 9.7 My wife and I stayed in the 1 Bedroom Seaview Suite which was fantastic. There was a full kitchen a with wrap around counter top and bar stools, a large living room with sofa and lounge seat, a large bedroom with an open closet, and a private balcony with a view of the ocean. The room was actually in a building/resort right next door called the Accenta. The main facilities at the Aspasia were great - nice pools, breakfast was wonderful and the staff was very friendly.

We received a complementary room upgrade on arrival for our stay of 8 nights. The breakfasts were brilliant and our two boys (5 and 7) completely gorged themselves each morning. The room itself was spacious. This is a timeshare resort and so there is an adjoining room (separated by a heavy door in the grand rooms). Our neighbours were very considerate and kept noise down. There is a 5 minute walk down to the shops and restaurants down the street. The hill is not difficult at all to anyone who is reasonably fit and healthy. Indeed, we actually liked walking up the hill to burn off some of the calories from the food we were eating.

Families with young children Australia, October 12, 2012	Loved it in low season Huge room, great pools and you can walk to the beach 8.7 We stayed in a 1 bed Grand Seaview suite and loved it. The room was spotless and the pools crystal clear. We went in low season so there was never an issue with obtaining a table at breakfast or a sun lounger. Breakfast was good, eggs to order and nice selection of fruits, not many asian options. The walk down the beach is via a lane through the trees that is not maintained but we never struggled with it and neither did our 7 yr old. Only negative was we could hear everything in the room next door as the room was designed as a 2 bedroom suite with the door in between locked. Lucky both lots of our neighbours were quite, although we got a knock on the dividing door (indicating please be quiet) when we arrived home at 12am. We quickly retired to the bedroom and shut the door, nothing can be heard from there. The walk to the hotel is up a small hill, the first 20m being very steep and I wouldn';t want to be doing it in the heat of the day too many times. We did it after dinner everyday and was fine. Great hotel and would recommed to friends, hope to visit again. Hotel Feature Tip: You can walk to Kata beach from the hotel, not many hotels you can do this from at the Northern end of Kata.

Families with young children Italy, October 07, 2012	Enjoyable hotel in good location, friendly staff Wonderful landscape, quiet environment, nice room 8 Hotel was under renovation but we did not suffer any unpleasant consequence. Location is great, view spectacular, very close to Kata beach, quiet, relaxing and pleasant but close to restaurant & amusement. Unfortunately the walking path from the hotel down to the beach passing through banana trees and jungle was not praticable as badly ruined... a pity! Hotel facilities were really nice, staff was very friendly, especially with the children. Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Safari with Elefant was a great experience for all of us!

Restaurant Tip: Note for terrible taxi & transportation in Phuket, so expensive.

Only problem is climbing the hill for old person and children to enter the hotel.

Families with young children Oman, June 18, 2012	fair The hotel location is underutlized, it could have been better 6 the hotel is overlooking the sea and it is mounted on top of a cliff. the scenary is good but the hotel lacks a nice loby, and the restaurant serves the same food for the breakfast. we did not fansy much of the food because they serve pork all the time so we ended up having eggs and cornflix for breakfast during our stay. the staff were nice. the location of the hotel is not suitable for elderly who wish to walk in and out the hotel because of the steep walk way. you also need to climp up and down many steps to get to the beach.

Except that my kids found a small worm in the pool especially in the kids pool. End up when we come back home, my 7th yr old doter caught high fever with watery n red eyes. The doctor said its because of the germ or maybe the mycoplasma. Also red eyes disease happen to a few people in our groups. Beside that the sraff are very prefessional and kind.

Thailand has changed a lot interm of staff attitude. Just that they need to maintain the room. 1 blade of ceiling fan at the balcony drop down. I am lucky that everybody in the room at the time. If you are looking to relax, here is the place. They gave us voucher for dinner and lunch for the same room...but when we when to have our dinner they say that it is a mistake and they cannot allow us to eat, while we just drive back without having dinner at Phuket Town thingking that we want to have a dinner there. Finally the staff came to our room saying that the Manager allow us to eat when that time we are loosing out appetite already. I think 1 of the staff at the restaurant trying to get full profit for his business that make everything seems not friendly eventhough all other staffs are good.
