Clean, cheaper than other hotels in the same category

Staff who have no sense of urgency or concept of time!!!

Basically there is nothing wrong with the hotel. Good breakfast provided - IT IS a breakfast after all, with cereal, fruit, omelet station, bread and croissants. But if you like pigging in the morning and expect a 50 dish buffet, this is not your place and you should check into club med down the road. Hotel is situated a short walk away from teh beach, but this means walking along a smelly and disgusting stream with raw sewage flowing down to the beach. Stuff inititally quite helpful.. until you need a service that involves some sort of timing (like a trip or a taxi).. and that is where trouble starts as like anything else on Phuket, it is overpriced and probably runs extremely late or simply does not exist. Best advice is to hire your own car - cost of taxi to and from the airport is more expensive that one day's rental. Enjoy!

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Karon beach is much better than Kata. Raw sewage being pumped into the stream nearby, so don't be fooled by how clear the sea is in Kata!

Clean. Okay breakfast and pretty decent value for money. Relatively near the beach.

Quite far from main part of kata.

The beach boutique hotel is decent. The price is quite high but it is everywhere in Phuket in peak season. It is about 10 mins to the beach, 2 mins to restaurants and bars. You have to pay for Internet, and the breakfast room can get quite noisy. The swimming pool is alright and didn't get too crowded. The rooms are really clean and modern so no problems there at all. Breakfast normal limited buffet but alright. We would go back there.

Good swimming pool Friendly staff

Booked a double room, bed very small.... Bathroom very small

The Beach Boutique Hotel in central Kata is close to all the amenities and restaurants around about. I had booked a Superior Double room only to find the room very small and the bed, more akin to a large single. After several attempts and a final request to see the Manager, we were relocated in a larger room with good size bed.... Although the bathroom was small. The staff are very friendly and there is a nice coffee shop area at the entrance of the hotel and motorbikes are available to hire. The swimming pool was delightful with a separate kiddies pool too, although quite small.

Nice boutique hotel with swimming pool, very good value, Clean and new room, helpful staff, good location - a lot of resto, bar and shooping places.

a bit far from patong beach, quite small room, no free wi-fi, no variety for breakfast.

The hotel is relatively new so everything is still new and smell fresh though the room quite small and also the TV is small. Their staffs are very helpful and polite. The area of breakfast is small with few tables and the food is not bad though need improvement with the variety. No free wi-fi though. Basically, I'm satisfied with the hotel and would like to stay there next visit.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : when you go to phuket you need to visit phuket funtasea, it is amazing thing to do. Though the price quite expensive but worth to see at least we have to see once. also if you like to cook, there is many choices of cooking course to choose. So if you don't like outdoor activities i think this is another solution for spending time for the trip.

Very reasonable and spotless. Only downside was the electricity was cut off the morning we left so we had to get up really early to take advantage of our stay.

Breakfast was very disappointing so we hardly ate any food. However, the accommodationas so cheap I do not think that I should complain more.

This was a last minute booking made on the internet and we were very happy with the very friendly staff and how clean and tidy the hotel was. Our room was small but beds very comfortable and the decor had recently been redone. It was very handy to small shops and restaurants and not far to walk to the beach. If you had plenty of time you could easily trek into Phuket Town Center. Very nice pol area although somewhat small. For a budget hotel we can recomend it

clean rooms and towelling, superb pool, free beach towel,

slow wi fi,

staff were pleasant and dealt with any minor issues very quickly.the first morning was buffet style breakfast in tamarind restaurant(upstairs)..no cereal, yoghurts but day2 onwards was much better within the hotel, waiter service and quick too but choice was limited.it was good value.if i returned,i would choose a bigger room..ie deluxe instead of my choice of superior, but it sufficed.beautiful clean pool and surrounding area

Travel tip : towards kata you get harrassed outside food and clothes shops so walk on opposite pathway and mind the motorbikes.shop around for taxi fare, tuk tuks go at snails pace until there out of kata

Good staff service, clean rooms

Wi-Fi Internet access problematic from rooms, you can only get connection at the staircase and discoloured water from rust

Located at a quiet location, it frees you from the daily tourists rush but in order to get to the beach, you'll have to walk approx. 500m to Kata beach through the little alley next to the canal. The superior room is not as big as we thought it to be, but it is still comfortable by any 5-star hotel standards. The water in the bathroom is a bit discoloured due to i believed a rusty pipe, so if you aren't too concern about it, it won't bother you much.

The room is clean and look exactly the same as featured in the photos advertised.

Need to walk about 15 minutes to reach the kata beach. Very few restaurants around the area unless you do not mind the walking.

Their service is good and the staff are polite and very kind enough to allow us to check in our flight the day before. The room is very comfortable and clean especially the washroom. It doesn't have stains on the floor or wall. I like their interior design, very "English" style come with the main color, white and a color of pink or etc for the different room. They even provided us a new towel each day. Although their swimming pool is small, but it is very clean. The only con is have to walk around 15 minutes to the kata beach and to the restaurant nearby. However you can rent a motorbike from the hotel and drive around 15 minutes to patong beach where it is crowded with shops and nightlife. Most of the entertainment center are in patong beach. If you are looking for a quiet and relax stayplace, then this is highly recommended with a budget price.

Beautiful & chic hotel in Kata. Nice and clean, Quiet environment. Small garden front room that access to beauty 2 pools.

The only problem I had with this place was controlling the hot water. It difficult to get the right temperature. Either too hot or too cold.

First night, we checked into the couple and triple room before move to studio room for 4 beds(up to 6 persons) for enjoy with friends in second night. I couldn't believe how new it looked! They say pictures are deceiving but from what I saw on the internet, it turned out to be just as chic as the pics! It was a 10 min walk to the bustling area with all the shops but I enjoyed the peace there - no noisy tourists and all. ABF was just OK valuable for your money. 400 meters to Kata. If you not have car, you can rent motorbike form hotel (I'm dont know rate). About 100 baht for 70 minutes of access through an Internet card of sorts. Slightly expensive, but still good enough. // I would check back in again next year becuase everything was impressed !!!

Hotel Feature Tip : Eventhough it was low season but most valuable because we accessed all facilities such swimming pools, jacuzzi, and take a beautiful photo to show our friends.

Very nice newly built hotel - very clean nicely furnished rooms . Friendly staff. Good location in quiet area yet 5-10 min walking distance to bars restaurants and night life.

None only thing is that you need to walk 10 min to get to the beach but the good thing is att you can choose to walk to Karon beach or Kata beach its almost the same distance.

We absolutely recommend this hotel. Initially we planned to stay only one night and then move on but ended up staying 4 nights and could have stayed for a week but wanted to move on and see other parts . Breakfast is good ( buffe) and worth the price. The spa is also worth a visit , a little more expensive than massage on the beach but you get a lovely relaxing environment, your private room ( they also have rooms for two if you are a couple so both can get treatments ) and very competent friendly staff. Would definitely come back for a week again but dont spend all your holiday there because there is so many more wonderful places to see - Ao nang is a favourite!

Hotel Feature Tip : great spa !

Very large, nice, bright and very clean and modern rooms. Good service, nice staff and the best breakfast we ever had in thailand. Good sleep in nice beeds and very quiet.

The location of the hotel is not so nice. You have to walk quite a bit to the beach and the town.

Very large, nice, bright and very clean and modern rooms. Good service, nice staff and the best breakfast we ever had in thailand. Good sleep in nice beeds and very quiet. In several traveller guides Kata Beach is recommended as the nicest beach but Kata Yai is like a big Highway. Kata Noi, the smaller beach, should be nicer. The location of the hotel is not so nice. You have to walk quite a bit to the beach and the town.

Hotel Feature Tip : You can rent a motorbike at the same price than in the town.

* Efficiently used room space. Room interiors done -up really well. * Courteous staff, good service * Motorcycle rental, taxi, day-trip bookings available from a tour operator sitting within the hotel premises (rented motorbike for 200 baht per day) * 400m away from Kata beach (walkable) * Close to Karon beach * Far away from Patong, but still has enough number of bars in the vicinity.

* Far away from Patong - that's a positive or negative, depending on what you expect from your holiday. * Nothing else that I can think of!

We were amazed at the the way the room's interiors had been done up. The room was small, no doubt, but we never felt claustrophobic or anything. The bathroom is neat and functionally complete (hot + cold shower available). They give you as much drinking water as you want, which is a big plus because the other hotel in Bangkok provided only 2 bottles per day (~1.2 liters) -- the rest was charged extra. It's located in a quiet street opposite Kata beach approx. 400m away. However, you're not too far away from rowdy bars on the main road right outside the hotel's street. A very good place to stay if you're not interested in the mad tourist rush at Patong.

-Close to the beach -Cheap -Clean rooms -Nicely decorated

-Laundry rates

I thought this was a great little place, it's very close to the beach, about a 5 minute walk and close to everything else ie shopping and restaurants. The rooms were very basic but very clean and well maintained. The have computers for internet and a decent breakfast included with the room stay. Laundry rates were expensive I thought but there are many places nearby that only charge 120 Baht for 2KG for a load.

Nice and pleasant rooms.

Absolutely no guest privacy and discretion. No wireless Internet in rooms as advertised. No discounts, free dinners or lunches and no free fruit platters as advertised when one books "Promotional Offer." No willingness by management or hotel stuff to rectify lack of all of above. Promises by hotel management are not kept. Unqualified, inexperienced hotel personal and management that never heard of guest privacy/discretion.

My last experience at the Beach Boutique House Hotel, Phuket close to Kata Beach was a nightmare experience. I booked a promotional offer which included free fruit platters on a daily basis, one free lunch or dinner per 4 night stay and 10% discount on all beverages and food, however nothing of the above was received and even after mentioning it to reception and management no compensation or willingness to provide such was offered or even considered. In addition I had to change rooms 3-4 times (4 night stay) as per request of reception due to faulty rooms and renovation work, which took in total 8 hours of my time in packing/unpacking my belongings. In three of my experienced rooms it also rained through and little lakes formed around the window areas. However the worst experience was that the receptionist of the hotel would just give out all my private information to everyone calling in or asking for it. So if you expect guest privacy/discretion and/or to receive what you booked and/or good service consider this hotel twice, as it might really ruin your stay and/or holiday. I stayed in this hotel before and apart from some problems it was still considerable. I don't know what happened but this hotel should not be allowed to operate as a hotel at all.
