The Bell Pool Villa Resort, Phuket

This hotel is not like an hotel, but like a home you rent. Beautifull home, nice decoration and very clean and quite. But far frome the beach and the pick up of the hotel is expensive. The service of the staff is not good, and the breakfast is like a one star hotel.

Overall we are satisfied with the stay. During booking on internet, we were told its walking distance to kamala beach. Upon reaching realised it's not. Location far deep in and unable to walk out. Surrounding area seems quiet and dark especially at night. Deem unsafe to travel by foot. So our movement slight restricted. Have to depend on transport which is costs. Staffs very friendly and try to accomodate to our request. Check in supposed 3pm but as we arrived early, they tried their best and we got our villa within minutes. Welcome drink and flower was given. Owner stays next to our villa. At night we only play cards by pool and to our surprise we received 3 phone calls complaining we're noisy. Asked to lower and reduce noise. This is where we felt slight unhappy, as we are guests and on holiday, should be merry and moreover we're group of 6. How soft should we talk? If its a couple holiday, of course no noise! F&b only ok! So called chef with 20yrs experience but scrambled egg turned out to be fried egg, and local thai food not to expectation. Next couple days bfast, we rqsted eggs and cook ourselves instead and they accommodate to us. Upon check out, its birthday for 1 of our friend. We asked whether they could help us to get a cake. They did! Superb!

We had a wonderful 2 nights stay here at the Bell Pool Villa Resort. It is a perfect setting for a family that wants to stay in Phuket with the possibilities for activitities that the island provides, but without the hystery of the touristic areas. A private dinner at the table next to your own pool after the kids have been put to bed can be recommended.
