The staff were very good to me as I have Cerebral Palsy.

Thank you very much for doing my booking, I did have problems with the stairs as I have Cerebral Palsy. It was also too far from the beach & entertainment areas. I should have looked at the map to get some idea of how far it was from the beach because I was walking up to Patong beach every day & night to get some eats & see some night life. I was wondering if you people can do me a favour & send me some hotel information about hotels in Patong being on the ground floor because I will surely be booking with AGORA again next year. Thanks once again James McCully

Cheap value for money!!

The staff are really friendly and helpful. Able to communicate well in English which is very important.
The room condition is excellent, for a guesthouse. There wasn't any elevator and our room was located at the highest floor so we had to use the stairs. It wasn't really that bad, cos you really need the exercise especially after all the cheap tasty food consumed.
The locAtion is very centralised, the beach is just a stone throw away, Bangla Road is just a junction away and so is the main shopping mall. The street vendors are just infront and there are restaurants everywhere. Despite all the nearby sites, the hotel is located in a peaceful and quiet area Whig is a plus point.
Definately recommend this for travellers on a tight budget!!
Restaurant Tip:
The menus are divided in Seafood/Pork/Chicken/Beef. So you don't have to worry. Just inform them of which group food you are keen on having.

I like the people working there, nice and friendly. Always show a smily face and willing to help. The only weak point is no lift. Quite tiring to walk to higher floor. Also need to improve the room aircond location. Feeling not comfortable with air cond directly blowing to face.

happy in the bird cage
Close to Bangla Road for people who like nightlife

Have stayed here many times, Helpful staff and very close to all the action of Bangla road (about 5 min walk). Also very close to all the shopping excitement of Jung Ceylon Shopping Centre. The superior rooms were an excellent size and very clean. It is on a quiet soi which also means a peaceful night sleep.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Go for the superior room. Not much more for alot more space.

Nice hotel for those not wanting to sleep
right in the middle of patong beach

The staff were very friendly - however this is not the type of hotel you would stay in if you were looking to get away from it. Stepping outside your hotel you'll almost immediately be hassled - if you're a single guy, you'll physically be stopped by girls wanting to give you a massage.

Overall it is a good trip. Taxi fare is rather expensive. So we took a mini van which cost only 150 B. However, on the way to the hotel, we were "hijack" to a tour agency for tour package. If you are not sure aboutthe details of the tour package, be not be hasty to sign up. There are so many other tour agencies available at the town. The location of hotel is near to where we wanted to go. It is clean and comfortable.
