Good location, away from busy Patong.

Despite good location, nice rooms and quite beautiful swimming pool, I wouldn't consider going back to the same hotel on my next trip to Phuket. I booked the hotel thinking I was getting a massive deal. Not a five start hotel. Staff struggle with English: during breakfast - "Could you please clean up that table by the pool?" - Staff: "No".... What??? Seriously? Turns out they couldn't understand me. Housekeeping staff was also very noisy - slamming doors down the corridor early in the morning. Travel from airport to hotel by taxi (proper taxi, not those dodgy private cars) costed me 500 baht. The hotel wanted to charge for the trip back and the receptionist couldn't explain why - all she could do was pointing to a price list. Above all, it's a decent place with nice views. if you're not expecting good service from staff, then this is a good choice.

Nice hotel with great ocean view
it's built on a hill so the view with the ocean is quite stunning. Hotel room is big at least mine is. If you are seeking a relaxed gateway this could be a good choice. Price is also nice and reasonable.

Breakfast is poor. Everyday is the same. Kind of disappoint me. Nother thing, since it's built on a hill slope, it takes a lot of effort abd time to transport from room to lobby or swimming pool. Take it as a good chance to exercise though.

Once u step in the hotel lobby n wanted to go back to your room, someone will always be there to drive u back no matter what time it is. Clean n nice room but if u are a beach person the hotel location is not near to patong beach you need to walk for 15 mins. Not a lot of variety breakfast for you to choose but overall I give this resort a 4 stars!!

Check in and out were quick and efficient. Staff friendly but one needs transport to most rooms ( hotel built on a slope)so have to wait. Rooms were nice and clean, but ealk up to breakfast a killer - several long flights of steps. Breakfast when you got there was good - big selection and tasty.Tour service seems slow and complicated so went out in the street and organised it quickly.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Better ask outside or down in Patong - not their strong point - well at least for what we needed.

the hoteal was good and the room was great. it is on outskirts of patong jsut on the hill so it is quiet. the shopping and all the dining is also very close by. the staff are friendly and the hotel has one of the best swimming pools i have ever seen. the breakfast is repettive but very good.

The hotel is located near Patong and it is very convenience to drive to Patong. The room is large with no view and the breaskfast is poor. Suggest to live in Seaview room to have better view
The service is good. It is suitable for those who want to enjoy a leisure trip in Phuket.

Nice hotel with beautiful scenery

The trip is ok. The breakfast quality is very good and the scenery here is so nice because the restaurant is very near the pool and the sea. The room is a bit old and the shuttle bus service is not so frequent, only 2-3 buses each day. I love spa package so much so I hoped to have a nice spa in a nice hotel. So before I checked in this hotel, i had called the front desk about the spa package. She said the hotel did not provide spa service to guests, so she passed my call to Novetel and asked them to answer my questions. However, when I stayed in this hotel, I found that there is really spa service here. So I was a bit irritated about this issue.
Travel tip:
Deserve to stay here if the weather is good and in promotional price

I had a wonderful experience at the Blue Marine - the staff were very freindly, obliging and competent. The rooms were beautifully decorated and very clean. The breakfast was absolutely magnificent, and overlooked a gorgeous view of Pattong Beach and out to sea.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Make sure that you get into a registered Tuk-Tuk or taxi.

Very nice hotel with wonderful view from old swimming pool location with swimming pool, water cascades and the sea in one view. Very convenient room with direct access to the swimming pool. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice place for breakfast in new restaurant located at new swimming pool number 2. Little too far to Patong to walk every day in both directions. We needed to take tuk-tuk or taxi several times. We stayed in this hotel over two weeks even in August 2009.
