Nice place overall
Nice big rooms, outstanding and helpful staff. Quiet place to relax and good swimming pools

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff was helpful and very courteous. The two swimming pools gave a nice and relaxing environment to the place and there were two kiddie pools for couples with children. There was noise due to construction but it was acceptable. The staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. I will return there if I go to Phuket again, very good value for money.
Restaurant Tip:
The restaurant was overpriced fir the quality, there are so many good restaurants in Phuket that are cheap and clean.Have a look around

Good hotel

Blue Marine looked to be the best one. I went to see it and liked the rooms but their prices were twice as high compared to the one on Agoda. So I found the nearest Internet cafe and made the booking for Royal rooms.
The resort is really nice with an ambition to become a 5-star, but lack some little thing that are important in the high class.
Location is convenient - 10-15 minutes walk from Bangla road and without the mess and noise of the main street.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Elephant farm with riding excursions is just a mile to the north

The Blue Marine Resort = OK
Friendly helpful staff. Nice view from our room. Quit off the road place. Nice hotel setup (pool, garden, restaurant).

It is a nice decent hotel at a quit place off the road away from the noisy Patong city.
But Walking to the city will cost you no more than 15 minutes and in 30 minutes you are in the city centre.
Of course you can also take the tuktuk’s on the road in front of the hotel and be in the city in 5 minutes for 150 till 200 Bath.
The sea view from the rooms with balconies is wonderful. Not (yet?) much extra’s (sporting facility and massage available) but the pool and garden are nicely and relaxing.
Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and maintenance is ok.
Good value for money.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Rent a motor in the city (some travel agents do have with assurance included) and drive around the Phuket island.

good hotel overall room is ok but a little mosquitoes accessery is ok . about television is small 21 inch and not lcd.spa is a little small maybe during improve hotel food is good not high price and tasty hotel's staffs is excellent service mind is very good.this hotel not far from patong beach .20 min. by walk. good view sea view in room

Good buffet breakfast. Clean room with a pleasant sea view and a balcony. Good location, not too far from city center. Friendly and helpful staff.

This hotel is nice for one or two weeks. Good location and good price if booked in time. Taxi to city center was always 200 baht. Some construction going on. Make sure you get a room not to close to the new buildings, then it will not bother you. Many stairs and some steep roads, but hotel provides a shuttle service to and from your room. The restaurant serves a nice buffet breakfast and also a good lunch.

Free daily transport to and from Patong Beach and Phuket Town to hotel (save at least 400-800baht daily). Friendly staff and clean room and facilities. Good sea view from the hotel pool. Relatively good selection for breakfast.

Overall I give it 4 stars out of 5 for value for money and enjoyment of stay.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Book a comfortable taxi (not tuk tuk) for at least 5 hours to be your personal guide around the island and enjoy the scenery and rides.

Good location, good breakfast, friendly personnel, good value for money (if you book in time).

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. Our room had a nice sea view, the room was clean and we did not hear any of the construction work going on in our room. Rooms are big, bed maybe a bit hard (but fine for us) and a balcony with two chairs and a small table. The walk up to the room was quite steep, but the hotel provides a shuttle bus. The buffet breakfast was good. There are two pools.

5 Nights at Blue Marine
Clean, nice rooms, 50 baht taxi to Patong, virtually on the beach.

This was a reasonably nice hotel. They are currently in expansion/construction, so it will be bigger soon. Nice pool and nice clean rooms that are spacious. There is a mini gym as well. I had issues with wireless internet range which the hotel reimbursed me for. About 5mins away from Patong centre (good thing) on the way to Kamala. Hotel staff helpful. Keep the doors closed as there are plenty of mosquitoes. There are some ok restaurants within walking distance but majority are in Patong. I think a little overpriced while under construction though.
Restaurant Tip:
Go to Patong, more choice.

Good location, close to Patong, staff excellent and good wireless connection.

This hotel will be good when building will be finished. Smiling staff but extra are too expensive. Forget massage or food on site.
Prices are good for a four stars and very good location, close to Patong center.

A relaxing vacation
Staff very friendly, good breakfast with great view. Very good for a relaxing vacation because sited in a hill not very close to the road.

The Blue Marine Resort and Spa is a nice and quiet hotel with a nice panorama view from the high floors or from the breakfast restaurant.
In my opinion The Blue Marine Resort and Spa is not really a 4 star hotel but the rooms are comfortable and big enough, for me the real stars are 3,5, the gap from 4 stars is lowered from the staff very friendly and ready to help you anytime.
Is advised for a people that want a relaxing vacation with friend or family.
