Good location with a fantastic view of the sea
It is very close to the Patong Beach and offers a very good view of the sea

the hotel is very conveniently placed close to the patong beach which is the hub of all the activity. the bangla market is at a walking distance too. our room was upgraded the day we arrived. the rooms and the service were excellent. the breakfast which was included in the package was excellent. though, the vegetarian food items were restricted. overall we enjoyed our stay at the blue marine resort.

Nice Hotel - Service Team Good

The only negative was, we found the female Reception Staff to be non caring with complaints or requests we made.
One team member was very difficult to deal with whilst we were trying to settle our final account.
She didn't seem to be interested in our questions for some charges that were not related to our account.
I was still not happy with some items on our account but there was no time left to argue,we paid anyway.
Watch your charges, keep track.
But overall Very Happy.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Plan to spend a few hours at the "Fantasea" Attraction, there is plenty to see, you need a few hours to site see before the show.

the resort is situated at a very convenient place which is very close to the patong beach and the market. the room was fantastic and gave a very good view of the sea. the breakfast which was a part of the package was good as well. though it did not have much variety for vegetarians.

Pleasant hotel with a view to die for

Pros: We had a surprise when checked into our hotel room as it was upgraded to a Honeymoon suite. The view from the balcony was incredible and service from the staff was prompt too.
Cons: Breakfast was mediocre at best and our Taxi transfer to the airport was late by 30 minutes.

Great room
Room was upgraded free to Villa suite with private pool and seaview!

1) Location of Resort: It is located up the hill away from the main Patong area. You can walk down to Patong Beach within 15-20mins and another 10mins to Bangla Road. If not, you can take tuktuk, however the tuktuks are overpriced. Pls bargain!
2) Service: When we arrived, there wasnt anyone to welcome us into the resort and guide us to the check-in reception. The typical welcome service you would expect from any hotel standards was missing and we had to even ask the bell boys to help us with our luggage! However, our first unpleasant impression of the resort was quickly diminished when we received a free upgrade to a 1 bedroom villa suite with private pool and seaview! (Tip: It was because we had booked our room from Agoda, thus pls mention this info to them to try for a free upgrade.)
3) Room: Journey to the villa have to be transported by the resort's buggy service since the resort was built on the hill. The villa is huge! The bathroom has a spanking big bathtub. The living room has a big LCD TV with 4 speaker stereo. There is also a dining room and a kitchen with a microwave oven. The private pool is ard 1.3m deep and is unseen by people so skinny-dipping is totally possible(hehehehe)
4) Resort Facilities: Did not utilize their facilities since all the facilities we had are in our villa already! The only disadvantage I have is that the wifi is chargeable and its quite pricey.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
1) Do not get transport/taxi service from the hotel as it is overpriced! Try at the main roads.
2) Pls mention to the front-desk if you had booked through Agoda as there could be possibility of free room upgrade. Thats what I got for trying my luck!
3)Sea sports at Patong Beach are expensive. You need to pay for the tanning decks at 100baht each, so you might as well just lay your towels on the sand. The beach is very clean but infested with tourists.
4) Shopping at Patong is expensive which is expected since it is a tourists area. Pls bargain with them and if you did not get what you want, pretend to walk away and they may give in to your bargain.
5) Tuktuks are a rip-off. They charges at least 200baht regardless of the distances. Rent a motorbike instead, its 200baht for the entire day however you would need to leave your passports with them so it depends on how comfortable you are in doing so. Ride safe too!
6) Night life at Bangla Road is an eye-opener with topless bartop dancing. Try bar hopping around.

Amazing hotel, beautiful view.

Friendly staff, nice location and good facilities. The pool was nice with a good view and overall the atmosphere was wonderful.
It's slightly far from the main area of Patong beach, but with a 10 minute taxi ride you're there.

we are going for a massage at hotel or resort. we stayed 3 nights in patong, we dont do alot of shopping, we choosed to go for a spa expercience. We had a one and half hour deep muscle massage at the hotel spa. For me it was the best I had the last 10 years. From arriving until leaving it was good . Beautiful surrounding, good therapists, great choice for having a healthy lunch. Enjoy the private tub at the balcony since we have the honeymoon suite, food is so so. Abit hard to communicate if you dont speak thai. I know abit so thats ok

great hotel with great view

this hotel provide the couple traveler privacy, because the location is quiet and the restaurant and pool have a great romantic view, especially in the night. tough the location is not too far away from the centre city of patong. just 20 minutes of walk you can reach bangla road and jungceylon.
It quite a long walk but you will not be bored because the roads provide you with many different situations.
but, i really don't like with the internet, its in low speed mode and some area cannot be reach by wifi

tour to bond island and phi phi island is a great tour you have to try

1) When we arrived at airport in Phuket, we had no transportation waiting to take us to the Resort. After calling the Blue Marine Resort, they stated that we would have to pay extra 1000 Baht, they also stated that our room was ready and that we didn't have to wait if we came straight to the resort from the airport. So here we are standing outside the airport searching for transportation, we found and hired transport for 700 Baht.
2)We arrive at the Blue Marine Resort and Spa around 11:30am. Checked in and had to wait 1 and a Half hours before we were shown our room. After we were told that our room was ready when we called from the airport.
3) Found out that Wi-Fi was not free and cost was extreme.
4)only had a half roll of toilet paper, no extra.
5)Our guest were refused to be allowed to visit in our room. (since my wife is Thai National, she had college friends that she has not seen in 7 years. Even when she went down to the lobby to explain, the staff refused to allow her friends to visit.
6)When checking out, we had to wait over 45 minutes before we could leave while the staff checked our room.
7) Breakfast was less than good quality.
8)The pool closes way to early. 7pm
