This Hotel is on the hill at the Northen end of Patong, it is very quiet so if you are looking for a peaceful stay then this is the hotel for you.

The Blue Marine is a lovely resort set into the cliffs just outside of Patong beach, it is a lovely place to stay and the facility's are exceptional.
It is a shame that the same cannot be said of all of the staff, whom are at time aloof and uninterested, there is a high number who do not even have basic english and alot of them appear uninterested in there job.
This unfortunatly taint the hotel, which in all other aspects is a great place to stay.

I have a very bad experience about this hotel,the room is dirty I can believe this is a 4 star hotel because the hotel smelly dirty and you will need to ride on the hotel car every time if youu want to every where becase this hotel is on the mountain and do not walk in to this hotel because they will charge you over price. there are only one thing about this hotel is they have a good view the food very expensive and terrible tase.This hotel is far from the all attraction.

First of all, it is too far away from the beach. The hotel only provides few shuttle to the beach and centre. It is too old and the swimming pools are not worth to visit. The room price is so expensive. The staffs are always busy. Comparing with other hotels I stayed in Phuket, it is not worth to stay.

the hotel itself provides a really great and silent seaview as located on hills in patong. courteous employees, delicious breakfast, clean rooms and nice environment. overall, we had a great time at blue marine, it is a perfect hotel for people coming over to patong for a relaxing vacation. i would definitely return for next trip. as for hotel location, it takes about 20 minutes on foot to the center of patong, about 10 minutes or less if taking a tuk-tuk, costing 300 baht. if you are a bar-type, this hotel seems too quiet for your.
Restaurant Tip:
savoey seafood in the center of patong is really nice.
