Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

how can anyone design a hotel with any electrical plugs????!!! they offer wifi, but not power. bag drag to the room was difficult, no elevator. we do not recommend this hotel. it's the last stop on any shuttle/mini bus from phuket airport, which is far away.

Not worth the price advertised! Was all concrete and reminded me of a bomb bunker. Better places to stay in the area!

Ocean Views, Perfect Location
10
I loved my room, shower was dripping over the bath but it was clean and nice, everything was close. There is road noise but earplugs fixed that. Taxi straight out the front, same family business daily, very friendly guys. Staff were exceptionally honest, I had accidently left a sum of aussie money (by accident) sitting on the bedside table, I later asked at reception if I could speak to the cleaner as I gave her a tip, The receptionist had been advised of the cash and the amount! Honest Hotel Staff!!
Restaurant Tip:
Everything you need, money exchange down stairs, and convenience store couple of doors up, beach across the road, stroll 10 mins into the shopping

The very nice room and so convenient
6.7
The place looks new, book the rooms with the balcony, it faces the sea view, very beautiful. Not too far away from the nightclubs for those who wants to party. overall this place is worth the price I paid for

Fantastic location and clean rooms
1min from Patong Beach, balcony facing the beach, clean room

I've booked 4 rooms at the Front Hotel Patong and it didn't disappoint. THe location is extremely close to Patong beach and convenient enough to walk to Bangla street. Only thing was that the reception of the hotel is next door where the Front Apartments were and that their so-called pool was pretty dirty. Well, who needs the pool when the beach is just a minute away. Nevertheless, I would come back to this hotel again for it's proximity to the beach, the view and the clean environment. Certainly would recommend it to friends and family.

modern, right on side front
nice hotel, right on sea front, clean nice rooms
8.7
great location, quick walk to main shopping/nightlife streets but away so not noisy at night time. restaurants/bars/massage places 2mins walk away. modern. stayed there a extra night as liked hotel and patong.
rooms need more plug sockets though.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
walk out of hotel, right, go to massage place next to pharmacist, great shop, only 200-250bht for 1hr massage.

Don't book this hotel for it's "ocean front" view
Decor was not too bad. that's all
4.3
I wanted to book a hotel away from the buzz of Bangla Rd, so I chose this hotel as it was still on patong beach, but still somewhat near the nightlife area. However, I realised that this hotel was *a tad* too far from the clubs. Walking took about 15 to 20 mins. Also, there isn't much of good food or interesting places around the hotel.
The decor was decent, but not well maintained. The room doors look rather old, and the lock on my room door was a bit wonky (but still safe). The toilet was rather disappointing. I liked the fact that the bath tub faces the room and you can see the beach, but the stopper for the bathtub was spoilt and I didn't have a chance to soak myself in a warm tub of water. :( The ventilation fan probably faces a drain outside, and the toilet is constantly having a certain weird smell. It's not unbearable, but it really spoils the experience of staying there.
The safe box in the room isn't electronic. You will be issued a separate tiny key upon check-in, and that's for the safe box. A bit troublesome because I don't like having to guard those tiny safe keys whereever I go.
And be very careful about the bottles of water in the fridge. There are two bottles that's free everyday, but the other two are mineral water. They do not tell you upfront that they will charge you if you drink the mineral water, and I ended up paying 150b for two small bottles! That's very expensive!
And the hotel sealed up the electronic sockets in the room. I had to unplug the fridge to charge my laptop and handphone ONE AT A TIME. That was bloody inconvenient and cheapo! I had to clear some work emails, and there wasn't a chair at the table for me to sit and do so. Had to do so on the bed! The wireless connection was bloody unstable too - practically not working half of the time!
WORST of all, the "ocean view" of the room was blocked by electric wires and "generators" and trees. Totally beats the point of me booking this hotel!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
I preferred kata beach to patong beach. The water at kata is clearer, and the waves don't crash in on the coastline. Patong is a bit too busy - but good to people-watch though.
