The internet was horrible, the pool was lovely but not openned long enough. A quite couples hotel to be used as a start point for tours and other activities away from the hotel.

Even though, there was not free wi-fi service(whats usually very important for me) I enjoyed my stay very much. Spacious modern rooms, comfortable bed, breakfast served as a buffet, helpful friendly staff, chilling atmosphere at the pool side. Decided to upgrade my 3th floor room to pool side room. I had really pleasant stay.

Worth it!

I stayed there for 4 days and 3 nights. I arrived at night and the entrance looked semi-vintage and beautiful, with small fountain in front of lobby. The service from reception was nice, the room was also clean and comfortable, luckily got the seafront side room. The bath tub & bath room was clean too. It was nice to stay there. The swimming pool is small but nice. The hotel was near from mini market & many restaurants around Karon. Then it provided you to rent a motor bike with quite affordable price. Nice!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Phuket FantaSea, you can buy the ticket at the hotel reception. What a great show!

i was upgraded to its sister resort next door as they were doing refurbishment on the front village. my stay at the front village resort & spa was fantastic .
amazing resort ,great staff ,great facilities .
highly recommend .

Nice hotel with lovely garden and pool

The front desk officer gave me a room at the third floor with an okay view of the beach. All rooms are sea view. The hotel has a beautiful garden and pool area which was pleasing to the eye.
My room had a king size bed which was very clean and soft and there is also a terrace with two chairs. The only thing that bugged me was the bathtub/shower. Not sure if this is a common thing in this hotel but the water drained very slowly and when taking a shower, my feet would be submerged in water. It was not a very nice feeling and I complained about it to the housekeeping staff. They called in an engineer to look at the problem but I'm not sure if it was ever fixed.
Great breakfast spread. You have to pay for internet though but the staff will give you a 20min voucher when you first check in. I'll come back though, because the rooms were nicely appointed and cleaned very thoroughly each day.

Lovely hotel, nice & quiet in great location

Travelling alone to Phuket for the first time, I booked just 3 nights at the Front Village but I liked the hotel so much I extended my stay to 9 nights!! My non-smoking room on the 2nd flr was lovely & the pool was fabulous, as were the breakfasts.
Although located at one end of Karon, it's only a 5min walk to the beach & the hub of Karon.
There were a few small things about the Front Village I could gripe about, but not enough to stop me going back next time!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Take the local bus instead of taxis. You can go from Karon to Kata and/or Phuket Old Town & explore the lovely Sino-Portuguese quarter. And a "must do" is The Big Buddha - awesome!

Away from busy Patong

The hotel is a bit far away from Patong where most of the action is, but that was the best part. The hotel is close to the beach and the rooms have what you need. Lovely hotel but nothing outrageous. The morning buffet is ok but again not fancy in any way. The swimmingpool is small but beautifull. It is impossible to see the beach from the balcony for the tall trees. The best part of this hotel is the staff, they are very nice and helpfull. All in all it was okay.
Travel tip:
Rent a scooter as soon as you want to go anywhere. its easy and much cheaper than taking a tuktuk... and they drive like someones after them...

I have nothing but good things to say about the hotel. Although I'm not a 'demanding' guy when it comes to hotel 'service' . . . I sure did like the smile/niceness of all the staff from the front doorman to the chamber attendants. A very gracious people, who remembered me and my room number from the first encounter throughout my stay. I could ask anyone for anything, and without telling my name or room number I'd have it in no time. I definitely prefer Karon Beach to Patong which is WAY TOO BUSY and intrusive. The hawkers at Patong beach were relentless. BUt then again, if you're 20-something the night life of Patong may be for you.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Don't take the coastal road from the airport to southern beaches. I rented a car, and although mopeds/motor bikes/tuk tuks were everywhere you quickly get a sense for the flow if you stay focused and minimize distractions.
