The distance from the beach is about 15-20 minutes walk. The building still in good shape, but if you stay in a room located in the back, you will face a construction site, and will be awaked in the middle of the night every 15 minutes by AC engines. The furniture are worn out and our bed were maintained by color rubbers.
The reception staffs are helpful and kind, right the opposite of the housekeeping staffs. Out of the 1000+ hotels in Phuket, the 55SGD/night is not competitive.

Stayed 5 times, very large 2 bedroom condo and best value. Always consistent, and self service hotel that has huge rooms. Not far from Patong and close to Karon too. Quick check in check out and really good little restaurants all around.

Reception is not 24 hour, and so the bell boy.
Stayed in 6th floor, and during check out, the lift is not working, no bell boy so had to carry all the luggage down.
The room itself is clean and spacious, location is a bit far from centre.
No food nearby.

Overall it is an amazing hotel to stay at.
Everyone we spoke to were helpful even the ones who couldn't speak english very well found a way to help us.
Nightlife Tip:
Bangla rd is the place to be at night if you want to party.

Booked standard room got free upgraded to penthouse 2bedrooms. The super spacious living hall n toilet is very good fir family with young children. My kids enjoyed the bath tub bathing. Nice n spacious. Only gripe is lack of customer svs desk after 5.30pm and you need to instruct the desk to clean the room. If not they will not clean proactively. Will return if going Phuket in a bigger grp again.
