Ok now the bad construction across the road noisy all day,should not of rented rooms out facing the work site..Breakfast only Ok, and 2 staff members rude..The good is value for money, large rooms,remainder of staff very friendly..would try another hotel next visit

near shopping streets. a convenient location to travelers visiting Patong the first time. Just located beside/behind Jungceylon. Room wifi - fast and generally accessible in room. But one light in my room was a problem and my request to fix it went unanswered. Generally recommend this hotel to those not aiming at the luxury type but just for a normal and accessible accommodation.

That was a cool place to stay. Staff has been friendly, and the room was clean, with free water provided, boiling water for coffee and tea, a plasma TV, and large window on the outside. Aircon was quiet and pleasant. The toilet and shower was clean and well maintained, the bed linnen fresh and clean too, free internet available, with a good bandwidth.
Breakfast was fine too. But not free.
I would recommend this place, as the value is quite fair for the area.

The Lantern Resorts Patong is a hotel in Patong Phuket which is centrally situated. This makes it ideal for people who are there to see the sights of Patong on foot. The hotel is modern and clean. The best feature is the rooftop pool and bar. I spent plenty of time there. Unfortunately the staff are not very helpful. I requested that the king bed be split in my room so that us two travellers could sleep separately. This required separating the two single beds which made up the king. The staff were unwilling to help so we had to do it ourselves. The room also had a very strong stink which the staff were clearly oblivious to. The internet facilities are also suboptimal and the "library" has no printing facilities. Much left to be desired.
