The Old Phuket Hotel at Karon Beach is built as a replica of traditional architecture that can still be found in sections of Phuket. Nearby attractions include the Karon Shopping Center, restaurants, and bars. This establishment provides an historical alternative to the typical hotel holiday. Karon Beach is arguably a much better destination than nearby Patong as it is slightly less crowded and boisterous. Those wanting to sample Patong or other areas of the island can make use of the convenient public transport systems in operation. All rooms at this hotel have been newly renovated. The seafood is, unsurprisingly, rather excellent.

Wonderful stay, close to Karon beach and very nice

We had an excellent stay. Walkable distance to Karon beach which was very clean. It had multiple tour options when you walk towards the beach and extremely tasty local restaurants within walking distance. Bai Toey was definitely worth mentioning. Also highly professional massage services where you can confidently walk in. Not crowded like Patong. We have also stayed in Patong earlier but we enjoyed our stay here much better.

There was no atmosphere it was boring
