The Racha Hotel is set on Batok beach on Racha Yai Island, 12 miles south of Phuket. The Earth Cafe Contemporary style international cafe open for breakfast from 7-11am and for dinner from 6-10.30pm (last orders) serving Western and Thai food in air conditioned comfort or on the terrace.	Lobby
Grand Deluxe Villa These individual villas are larger and some of them boast the best sea views on the island. They offer a large living area and a spacious private terrace. Each deluxe villa is superbly designed and features a luxurious bathroom and a rain-shower outside. Room size: 54 sq m.	Swimming Pool A large rectangular infinity-edge swimming pool with pool deck overlooking the Andaman Sea and a second multi-level free style swimming pool with waterbeds and Jacuzzi set in the resorts lush tropical garden.
Sunste Beach Resturant A casual restaurant serving local specialties and snacks for lunch and fresh barbequed sea food and steaks for dinner right next to the shores of the Andaman Sea. Open from 11am-10.30pm.	Grand Pool Suite The large and luxurious Pool Villas feature private infinity-edge swimming pools overlooking the Andaman Sea, a large sundeck and an open-air relaxation pavilion. All pool villas occupy the prime sites with the resort. This is the ultimate luxury accommodation at The Racha. This superb two storey villa features two bedrooms, both with private Jacuzzi in the bathroom. The swimming pool is located privately and offers guests an ideal place to relax in a peaceful setting. Deluxe Villa The superior villas are laid out in pairs sharing a detached pavilion and are all luxuriously appointed with private terraces and spacious bathrooms offering both indoor and outdoor shower pleasure. Some feature connecting doors. Room size: 43 sq m.	Grand Deluxe Pool Villa The Deluxe Villas with pool are similar to the Deluxe Villas in the lay-out and furnishing. In addition, they feature a private swimming pool or plunge pool and are located within the prime area of the resort. Room size: 54 sq m.

Fire Grill
At the elevated pool deck, our Fire Grill restaurant provides pizza and pasta on the terrace during the day, while transforming into an elegant fine dining experience at night.

Ice Bar
The resort also features the Ice Bar, a fun place for relaxing cocktails, pre-dinner drinks or an after-dinner night cap. Live entertainment is provided six nights a week.

the room, clean, the sea, the staff

long way-17.5% on top of everything

I first saw Racha on a day trip from Phuket and promised myself I would stay there and 4 months later I was there with my girlfriend. It,s a very long journey into BKK and then down to Phuket, the taxi and then a very bumpy boat ride. However, the taxi pick up service is good and the bumpy ride worth it. We had a Delux villa and it was fine - very clean with TV,DVD and IPOD. We spent some nights watching DVDs (there,s not much to do at night apart from eat, watch DVDs ) and we had complaints about the noise-so not sure how the good the walls are. The beach is ok-the sea was clean and refreshing and the Racha pools very good. We did some scuba and whilst Thailand is not world class the local dives are ok. The ambience is very relaxing and the staff very friendly. I felt the spa was over priced and a 300baht foot massage on the mainland was better value. The food was good but expensive and once you add the VAT plus service charge everything is 17.5% more expensive. Would i go back?-yes. Would I recommend it?-yes as long as you can stand the journey and are moderately wealthy. Great place to take a loved one

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : take a walk to Siam beach-it,s low rent in comparison but has a couple of nice bars and is a change

swimming pool with view over the bay

nothing i have seen

it is an amazing hideaway. as there are no cars on the island it made our stay so relaxing. the only sound you have is the sound of the ocean and the animals living in the jungle. the blue of the swimming pool, the blue of the ocean and the blue of the sky ... makes this place unforgettable!

Very beautiful property and the room. I am also impressed by the level of service from the office at Phuket island through the shuttle boat until we arrived at the hotel. The sea is very well reserved and the snorkelling is very easy from the hotel beach.

Too many charging fee on the activities provided by the hotel.

Very romantic holiday for a couple and there are so many activities that we can do at the resort given that it is a secluded island. The staff service is excellent and the sea is very beautiful with many fish. I did see many nice corals and fish with the snorkelling from the hotel beach.
