The hotel is really value for money. Location is near shopping places and restaurants. Burger King is just next door. Very convenience. The staff are friendly and helpful. No lift. Luckily we were staying on level 2, we do not need to climb the stairs to level 3-4. No hot water on the first night, but it was rectified the next day after we feedback to the staff. The walls' sound proof quality was not too good. We could hear people walking along the cooridor or closing and opening the doors in the morning. The hotel is really value for money. Location is near shopping places and restaurants. Burger King is just next door. Very convenience. The staff are friendly and helpful. Though the hotel has no lift, the staff helped us to carry our bags to our room. They even showed us how to tap and open our door and turned on the air-con for us. The room was very clean.
No hot water on our first night. But it was rectified on the next morning after we feedback to the staff. Breakfast there at The Royal Beachfront Hotel is ok though not much of varieties.
The hotel rooms' sound proof quality was not too good. We could hear people walking along the cooridor or closing and opening the doors in the morning.
Overall, we had an enjoyable stays at The Royal Beachfront Hotel in Phuket.

the room is clean, superb near to the beach(about 30 seconds walking distance), pleasant hotel staff. the hotel lobby was a bit warm, breakfast buffet not good in taste, mosquito bites during morning and night when you having your breakfast and sitting at the lobby. Very near to the beach (30seconds walking distance). The menu of the breakfast buffet were same everyday, you will enjoy in the 1st day but you won't feel like to have it on the next day. Free wifi ONLY at the lobby (i have tried inside my room which located at 1st floor but it doesn't work). The room was clean, but just enough for 2 person. The location is very unique, Burger King is just at downstairs, Starbucks & McD just a minute walking distance. There are few guest house around the area which is cheaper i would recommend to those people who just need to find a place to bath and sleep.
Travel tip : No worry about food and activites as long as you bring enough of $$. The travelling agency opposite of the hotel side door offerred cheaper Airport Transfer which only THB500.

Friendly and cooperative staff, Special care for tourists, location, comfortable rooms, good standard of breakfast. Behaviour of restaurant staff needs improvement, service in restaurant lacks courtesy, noise of construction work in an adjacent hotel. I was referred to this hotel by friends and found it to be as good. The location of hotel and the caring staff, at reception and room service, was remarkable. The tourist information desk and its staff were great help. The hotel staff was very helpful when we asked for police help at one stage for a matter outside the hotel. The noise of construction work on a nearby hotel was disturbing, I wish if I could get the room on the other peaceful side. Restaurant staff lacks general courtesy towards guests and are forgetful. At breakfast,food items are not replenished quickly and guests are never informed to relieve them of waiting.

good service, near beach, in the middle of the patong beach Thanon Taweewpmg Road; Burger King just outside hotel no lift, bath tub is leaking which make the wall & floor outside bathroom wet and slippery; small pool, private taxi too airport cost 700bahts per trip which is expensive; shuttle bus to airport cost 150bahts per person serves every hour but always full. no taxi on the street, there is only tuk tuk. it was my bf's b-day that i asked for just a little cup cake with candle to suprise him, the bellperson was very efficient to arrange for me and free of charge (actually it is the cake which serves at the breakfast buffet, but i still appreciate it). Breakfast was soso, but acceptable for this kind of hotel.I am offered for late check out at 13:00. but the housekeeping claimed that I opened the Pringle Chips and wanted me to pay the 65Bahts,it is not expensive but i did not open and eat it. anyone else check-in this hotel next time should check all the mini bar items which is not used or opened. finally they waived the charge but i could see in their eyes that it was me to open it. there are private limosine just park outside the hotel (with the TAXI sign on the window) which cost 600bahts to airport you may bargain for a little lower price.
Restaurant Tip : rotee/ roti is a must-eat in thai for me. patong has more pancakes than roti on the street, if you look for roti, you better look for if there is egg on the trolley.

location, clean, nice design no view from room, stairs The location of the hotel is great, just across the road seperating the beach. Rooms are clean and well designed providing a nice stay on patong beach. Suitable for couples and holiday-goers on a budget but do not want to skimp on hotel quality. A great stay!
Only problem was that there were no lifts, rooms on higher floors would require more leg exercise.

The location of this hotel is absolutely amazing. One just needs to cross a road to enter into the white sand and turqoise blue ocean. Food and shopping outlets are nearby and within a five to ten minutes walk.
I would definetly recommend this hotel to all travellers who would like to stay in the middle of it all !!

Friendly staff. Great location. Sewage smell in the hallway but the rooms are great without any smell. I came to this resort with a few friends of mine lookiong a place to lay back and enjoy some quality time by the pool. The pool was very well kept and poolside service was awesome. The rooms were clean and well airconditioned. The staff weere very friendly welcoming us with complimentary drinks on arrival. Staff were also very helpful in recommending places to eat and shop. Would not hesitate to recommed this resort to any friends or family of mine.
Shopping Tip : Take some time out to do the full walk along the mainroad running past this resort.

location, lots to do and see noise, cost of internet, no elevator nice place, well renovated from the tsunami - which they have great pictures of in the lobby bathrooms. nice rooms - large and well cleaned, good bathroom, fridge, no elevator but only 4 stories, pool is on the roof and is nice and next to a massage area which is a bit expensive compared to the neighbors but if you want the ocean breeze it can be worth it. internet free in the lobby is pretty slow but works, you can get it in room but the cost was high in comparison to the room cost which was low. building a new hotel within 2 feet of the window of our room so noise can be a problem in the mornings, plus all light is blocked so you will not be woken by morning light. hotel food is excellent.
Hotel Feature Tip : covered managed free parking in the back of the hotel for your motorbike is free, but check your map, most roads in this area are one-way and wear your helmet and take your drivers license - police checkpoints everywhere.

comfortable room, roomy, clean, good comfortable bed if you like to be in the center of it all, this hotel will be to your liking. nice place - be aware no elevator on this 4 story building - pool on the roof. wifi was half the cost of the hotel room per day but it was free in the lobby. great staff, very helpful and changed us to a lower room where we could barely get a signal from the free wifi in the lobby! nice place.
Restaurant Tip : BBQ to eat on the street all hours, great stuff

Close proximity to the beach, very good customer service, efficient housekeeping. No elevators if living on high floor (4 storeys building) Stayed for 3 nights and the overall stay was excellent. Me and my girlfriend had landed in Phuket earlier in the day and was told that i could only check in at 2pm. So we had 2 hours to kill before we could take a rest.
Room was decent. Albeit the internet pictures varies slightly from the real look. The room was spacious and well-kept. Showers abit old and the showerhead were not adjustable.
Swimming pool was rather tiny but did its job in keeping my sunburn soothed...
Very close to all the hotspots, Bangla road(10 mins), Jungceylon(15 mins), Patong beach was just fright infront of the hotel (Yipee!)
Breakfast was standard, nothing to shout about.
A great stay for the budget conscious and yet prefers a close distance to the beach. If you want a luxurious stay though, this might not be the one for you.

nice lobby, provided unlimited towels for beach, pool n shower.near to beach, fast food, night market.. very good location. for me this is so good. thumbs up for the services and location. bathroom shower is kinda slow. they really need to work on the water flow. i understand its not a new hotel so we found that some of the furniture, location is damage and need some repair. ladies and gentlemen, this hotel have no lift. so u have to work on your foot This hotel located at a great location near to beach, night market, travel agency, public transport and clubs. The services provide is as good as those 5 stars and pricey hotel. For me, hotel room is for me to shower and rest at night. i prefer to hang around the town and beaches. So, this hotel is definitely suitable for those who just there for vacation but not honeymoon. As i know this is not a new hotel so some of the furniture and parts not well maintained, need some repair. For my room i cant open the windows and there is no any nice view. But, what do u expect for this price? Definitely not sea view or something else,right? *EXPECTED* Nice pool but not big. everything at here is just cozy, lovely. But the hotel really need to work on the shower flow, the water form shower is kinda slow. i prefer stronger water flow for shower. in conclusion, i will stay there again!

Great location at "happening" patong beach.
Clean & comfortable room. Decent service.
No lift... tiring to climb stairs up if you're staying at top floor (4th story).
No open balcony for us to dry our wet clothes.
It was a resort with good-value for money. At around SGD 60/night.
Great Location! The resort is just opposite the beach and within walking distance to the nightlife (pubs), shopping center (Junceylon) and the many restaurants & local eateries. Don't need to take cab/ tuk-tuk... everything is within walking distance.. just stroll out of the hotel, plenty of road-side stores.
Can be nosiy & crowded during peak seasons.
If you like v quiet & secluded beach, patong beach might NOT be best for you.
Room is clean, comfortable, free wi-fi at resort lobby.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Note: jetty to travel to nearby islands & airport (Eg: phi phi, krabi) will take you 30 mins on car.

Nicely decorated, large room. Lovely staff. Good price, across the road from the beach. We were upgraded from deluxe to superior on my request for a room with a window before we arrived. The breakfast is a little bit ordinary, as are most buffet style meals. Breakfast is available from 6.30am, but once the little burners below the bain marie's run out, they don't re-light, so if you're getting up for breakfast at 9am or 10am, the food is mostly cold. Being picky though, it's not bad.
One other small point is there was a bit of a stinky sewerage smell that came and went in the hallway outside the room. The room didn't smell though so we didn't care too much.
The restaurant food is fairly pricey for Phuket standards, if you get off the beach road into the other little restaurants, you will get a lot cheaper. Still a bargain compared to home though! We very much enjoyed our stay.
Restaurant Tip : Try to find 'Break Point' restaurant for an absolute bargain and fantastic Thai food and pizzas. Chaeng beer (stubbies) is only 25 baht, less than AUD$1 each! We ate there 5 times.
