Royal Paradise Hotel
Walking distance to beach, shops and restaurants.
However need about 15 mins walk to Bangla Road. Hotel provide free shuttle to patong beach at hourly interval. Reception gave a warm welcome.

Stayed at "Royal Wing" - new wing with clean room, nice bathroom and excellent Pool view. Was told that you need to book the old wing "Paradise Wing" in order to get the Ocean View. Just 2 min walk outside the hotel there are many massage outlets. The hotel also have a cozy spa and massage outlet. There is a gay street just opposite the Royal Wing. Stay was overall pleasant.

Hotel is situated at a very good location close to all shops and restaurants. Breakfast buffer has a lot of choices. Food are good. The room is tastefully decorated. Bathroom has separate bath and shower. The beds are very comfortable. The best is a big swimming pool which we spent most of our day there. The only bad thing is the room we choose is next to the streets with bars and pubs with noises started late in the night and did not stop until early morning of the following day.

Benidorm, meets Surfers Paradise, with spicy food!Unlike many reviewers we didn't like Patong, at all. However the GRAND ROYAL PARADISE provides what I'm sure is perfect for most Patong lovers.
If a massive concrete multiple swimming pool and eatery type hotel is what you are looking for, then book this hotel. If you want to be in Thailand then this is not for you.

Royal paradise
Very very good location, the staff was friendly,although slow, they spoke good English and were service minded. The pool is nice, but the pool bar extremely expensive.

The location is fantastic but it is in the middle of the area, which can be quite disturbing. Otherwise it is a nice hotel, a little bit old and dilapilated, but otherwise fine. I would recommend this hotel to other guests if you manage to get a decent price.

I think it must have been the largest hotel in the resort.
Reception staff were friendly. We only had two days in this hotel, but our brief stay was comfortable and enjoyable. There was a very good sized pool area and lots of restaurants and eateries also as part of the hotel. The views from the upper floors were great. The breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice.

Royal paradise is in a very central location.Although it has a gym it is very small.Yhe pool is very nice & has a bar. The breakfast buffet had a good selection.The staff were very friendly and were always willing to help.I was disappointed with the detail cleaning in the bedroom & the price of internet in the bedroom, $10 for 24 hours as I only required its use for 2 hours.

I felt at home here from the moment I arrived. It's a very comfortable 4-star hotel with professional front of house staff, comfortable rooms with a great view, and good facilities throughout. A very nice buffet breakfast was included. I will definitely stay here again.
Nightlife Tip:
Walk straight ahead out of the hotel and you get to the nighlife area in 100 yards.

Overall I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The swimming pool was a lot bigger than many others with shady places to sit. The Chinese restaurant was excellent and I enjoyed having a view over the town. It was easy to walk around town and get to the mall and bars and restaurants. Downside was the walls are obviously quite thin and I got tired of dealing with the neighbours' tv noise all day and their constant smoking. But for the Agoda price, I can't complain!
Shopping Tip:
If you get sick of being accosted by tailors, people (as I certainly did), go to the shopping mall near the hotel. It has great places to eat and isn't at all sleazy.
