Great Villas
Large villas, perfect view, very comfortable

Stayed 5 nights for our honeymoon, never left but for a few nights for a stroll. Service was always friendly and with smile.
Nightlife Tip:
There is little to no night life at Kata Noi, it is almost a private beach, with the Katathani Resort stretching from one end to the other including the Shore. Thus restaurants are generally limited to those of the resort, prices are reasonable. Although having travelled through busier parts of Phuket - Patong, Kata offer greater range and competitive pricing.

We had read many great reviews and seen some incredible pictures of the hotel before making our reservation. Thus, our expectations were quite high but the Shore at Katathani still managed to exceed them. The service was top notch, the hotel room was beautiful, and the views were breathtaking. We enjoyed eating breakfast in our room every morning and taking late afternoon dips in our private pool while watching the sun set in the sky. We enjoyed our time at the Shore so much we even extended our stay by one night. I would highly recommend this hotel to other couples looking for a romantic, relaxing getaway.

We got upgraded to an ocean view villa and our room was gorgeous, the private pool, the view and the decor were perfect. We would not have changed one thing about our room it was amazing, they thought of everything when designing this gorgeous property and room. This property is on a hill so that each villa has privacy and a pool that overlooks the beach. There are lots of stairs and hills to reach the higher villas but the staff is always willing to pick you up or drop you off in a golf cart if you don't want to climb the hill. We tried to leave the villa and get out and do things but it was hard because we loved sitting by our own pool and enjoying the view. The restaurant was a little disappointing but the breakfasts had a good selection and the cocktails were delicious. Kata Noi felt very safe but was very quiet, a taxi was needed to go into larger Kata beach to explore town life.
Restaurant Tip:
In Kata Noi, Mom's Tri was amazing. It had a great view and delicious food, the cocktails and wine were also fantastic!

The location is beautiful and the main restaurant was excellent.

I was a bit surprised that the 2 bedroom villas was not as ocean facing as I had imagined. At this price I would expect to see the ocean from the living room. We only had a view from the master bedroom. The food in the restaurant by the beach was wonderful and the service was fairly good. Beware there are 3 types of margaritas at the bar. Makes it confusing when you want to order one!
Nightlife Tip:
Further from Patong that I thought.

Lovely hotel with a great view but no sun...
The view was just amazing and quiet comapred to other resorts as it is at the end of the road.

we had a wonderful stay at the shore at katathani. we stayed at the villa with a view just like the one on internet and it was incredible. although it took long time to deliver the luggage, staff were very friendly. as some of the reviewer indicated that there is not much sun around the pool area in your villa. if you want sun, you need to go to the pool downstairs.
overall, good stay...

It wasn't see view one, but I could see a beach and, moreover, beutiful flowers and trees.
Everything was very nice and I could make my bride feel very happy and satisfied.

Perfect Honeymoon Destination
The Private Pool, and the sheer luxury of the room

this was the last stop on a month long holiday, and we picked it for relaxation. the room was spotless and extremley well appointed, and the private pool with views across the bay was stunning! the hotel is built on a steep hill, but there was always a golf buggy with a driver available for the short ride up the hill to the rooms. buffet breakfast was good, with plenty of fresh fruit and very good coffee! wireless access provided in room, and a good selection of tv channels in many languages
