private island, unique location, resort feel when needed, helpful and friendly staff, great drinks (Lychee Caprioska especially!!!!) and food!
the yards aren't as private as you would like as you can see into almost every backyard, the shower was too powerful it hurt! No telephone to call reception if needed...would be required to pay long distance charges on your cell phone if you needed to contact someone (but the resort isn't too big that it couldn't easily be walked in under 5 minutes)
We were really pleased with the resort and really liked the atmosphere. The food and beverages were great and it was a nice place to walk at night. The boat and island experience is quite unique and fun We spoke with some of the senior staff and they were very very willing to help us with any of our needs. The service was excellent!!

What a pleasant surprise when we got there. First the boat ride with the well-made jetties. Then the friendliness of the staff. The tuk tuks used instead of the normal golf carts are a real cultural icon for a Thai property. Food was good and cheap. Free CDMA internet was awesome, more places should learn from this. The service of the staff was great, from organising the boats when we want to leave the premises to dinner and activities outside. staff made it extra special. The masseuse was good. The pool was clean. The premises was well maintained and so were the gardens. Great for families as it had the back to nature feel for the kids. The mini mart was well stocked. OVERALL A GREAT PLACE!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : - Hire a long-boat to go fishing or other activities. The hotel can help you to organise. Clean and cheerful.
- Go to the floating restaurant for dinner. The staff knows the good one as there are 5 out there. Take the kids, there are puffer fish and leopard sharks to sea and feel!

The beachfront villas have a truly wonderful view out over the bay. THe restaurant food was delicious and actually really well priced given the location. It was fairly quiet at the resort in June but likely that was becaue it is not the busy season. My wife and I had a lovely couple of days relaxing round the pool.
