Price equals quality.
Quiet hotel from the times of the King's youth.

it was nice stay. we did not expect nothing better for the less then thousand for the room that we paid for our double. pool inside the hotel did not work for one of the days. everything (a/c, fridge, doors, beds, toilet) is a bit old. you should pay for extra person as well. didn't check the breakfast. cleaning was fine (every day). there was no safe in the room. you should use the one on the reception.
the hotel is 5-7 min from the bangla and beach. not so far. and it is really quiet for all the time.

Good resort, great pool area!

we arrive late and the staff couldn't help enough. they apologized for the tiredness of the hotel but it was not as bad as we then expected! just needs some loving care but breakfast and pool area great. very good location between nightlife, food, markets and beach. we were there during the tsunami warning after the quake and although we ended up a mountain, we understood that anyone who was in hotel and didn't want to climb was evacuated to 3rd floor. one receptionist stayed, most hotels we saw had no staff anywhere and the next day the manager spoke to us all to check we were ok. he also posted info in reception ie size of quake ect. very good excellent price!
just really need tea making facilities in room, but could call down for hot water!

Take a travel kettle! I needed coffee!

great location and great value
easy walking distance to the beach, jungceylon shopping complex, and bangla road.

this resort is very comfortable. it is not posh, but that is exactly the way i like it. the rooms, restaurant and pool area were very clean, and we felt very much "at home" while using them.
it is located on a main road, but the rooms are secluded and a good distance from the road so we were not aware of any traffic or pedestrian noise at all.
Restaurant Tip:
The staff spoke English well, but may have some difficulty understanding concepts that are not on the menu. I am vegetarian, so that can sometimes be an issue for me. (even in Australia!)

cheap mini bar, great pool and impecable service. really close to shops and restaurants, massage parlours and stripclubs.. jet skis and parasailing.. everything you'd expect in phuket!
Nightlife Tip:
ping pong show drinks are one thousand baht!!

Quiet Hotel in the middle of the action

Although when we checked in the staff did not seem very friendly it did not take long for them to warm up to us. The room was very basic but well kept and clean, with a wonderful balcony over looking the jungle pool area. The street the hotel is on is loud late into the night, but as soon as you enter the hotel garden you wouldn't even know.
