stayed at viridian for 6 nights left to different area of thailand and returned to patong 5 days later and re-booked this hotel. clean hotel, rooms a bit tierd but they were renovating as i was there ,nice pool great staff . not a bad hotel mid priced so a good place to stay if you are looking a neat and clean place to stay not to pricey.

if your a family travelling then this hotel is for you.. they have connecting rooms, great airconditioner, fantastic breakfast, big rooms, lots of shops and restaurants out the front of the hotel. close to bangla road (party street) .... this hotel is also great for single people travelling.
the staff are also amazingly friendly.. they are there to help you with all your needs. the hotel is very clean, and the swimming pool is fantastic.
beach is only 5min in a tut tut..
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
You must do a tour to Raya Island. Beautiful snorkelling straight off the beach..

When we were checking into the Viridian Resort they demanded another 1500 thai bhat for a 5 day stay because there were 2 of us, myself and my boyfriend.That was the first time we encountered this after a month of travelling around S.E. Asia. We booked all of our hotels,including this one through Agoda.
The staff was unfriendly, almost rude. Our room was dirty and the bathroom was worse. Dirty dishes sat on the floor in the hallway, covered in flies for the 5 days we were there. Definitely the worst hotel we stayed in!!!

I only stayed here for one night which was fine. The hotel grounds where nice. The actual room was quite old but clean and the front desk staff where very helpfull.

Great hotel in a pefect location with wonderful, helpful staff and nice rooms. Really nice pool and drinks were served at the pool even though they don't have a swim-up bar. Lots of shade to be found around the pool as well, beautiful garden.
Nice breakfast included, good value for your money.
