Good location, good hotel facilities with swimming pool, sauna, steam-room & gym. Great location with nearby pubs & bars. Min's walk to patong beach & restaurants. Hotel look small from outside, but the deluxe room is big with LCD TV. Nice swimming pool with bar to relax, can try the sauna, steam-room & gym. Food price is reasonable at the lobby bar. Will come back to stay at this hotel again.

location, value for money, service, friendliness of staff, cleanliness, fitness suite, swimming pool service charge and tax added to bills i stayed at the Yorkshire Hotel for 10 nights in June 09 and was very impressed with accommodation. The location was excellant with it being 300 metres from the night life but far enough away to relax if you wanted a quiet night at the bar. The staff were very helpful and any little problem was dealt with quickly and efficiently. I would recommend thid hotel to anyone visiting Patong as it is excellant value for money.
Hotel Feature Tip : Pick one of the newly added bedrooms as they are much larger than the standard rooms with better amenities and for not alot more money.

location is good as it was opposite bangla road and beside jungcelon. The room is clean and new. We requested for non-smoking room but was given a smoking room and the room has the cigarrete smell which we cant tolerate. There was no carpark. We had to park our car for 60 baht for a day. So we paid 60 baht at 5pm. However the car park person request for another 60 baht when we re-park our car at 12midnight and change the terms that the payment begin from 6pm to next day 6am. So our 5pm payment does not count! Anyway we paid as there was no other carpark. It's a budget hotel. If you are staying here, do not rent car. However patong is too noisy and you can get better quality hotels at karon or kata with the same price.

Some of the girls at the front desk could be more friendly. The Yorkshire is located on a small street just off bangla road in patong beach area of phuket. Being so close to all the night life and the beaches you would expect a loud atmosphere however it was very quiet. The rooms are very clean and the pool is Great! The otel is also very gay friendly.

Where do i start. I would reccommend this hoteL. The food was great and cheap. And the staff where friendly. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The shower keep going from hot to cold. Not consistant. I like this hotel that much that i'm booking another holiday to stay there.
The rooms and the food are well priced.
The staff in the restuarant are friendly, courteous and pleasant to talk to.
The pool is very nice to have a relaxing swim in and then sit by the pool and have a drink from the bar and a bit to eat.
The hotel is also very close to the nightlife, less than 50m. Great for a sols traveller.
Nightlife Tip : If you get the urge, get a girl from the bar. This way you know it's a female and there clean. It's a bit more of a cost. You way the risk.

Friendly staff
Good location.
Free pool, gym and internet. Reception and Room cleaners are very noisy and can easily disturb sleep from 9am onwards. I have stayed at the Yorkshire Inn several times now the most recent being June 2009 and and have enjoyed each of my stays at this hotel very much. This hotel has attracted me several times now because of the high standard of friendly staff, its great location, its cleanliness, amenities (free pool, gym, internet) and its competitive price although i fear the later after several visits is soon going to be irrelevant after recent renovation and price rises. I fear in the future it will out price itself from the personal, friendly, inexpensive hotel i have known it to be. Their are cheaper hotels and guesthouses all around this location and access to a pool for a 150baht a day very close aswell. This hotel is located at the top of Bangla Rd in Patong and quite literally a 2min walk from the heart of the night life. It is surrounded by restaurants, guesthouses, close to a shopping center and is only a 10min walk to the beach.

Good pool, nice relaxed atmosphere during the day. Stayed for 10 nights in June 2009, good modern hotel, good food, great pool area.
Staff have good english, very polite, very helpful, 4 computers to access FREE internet.
At night things not so good, the deluxe rooms are built with walls of tissue paper ! !
You can hear everything in the next room!
The TV is audible from rooms on either side!
The corridors are tiled so you hear every foot step at night.
The bottom of the door had a huge gap ( Reminded me of Land of the Giant's ) so if anyone is talking when they return at night you will hear everything.
OH, and its very close to some music bars, if you are a light sleeper be prepared to be kept awake in your room till about 5am.
Restaurant Tip : Try next doors breakfast.

Fitness Center, friendliness of staff, quality of food served, location of hotel. 10% service charge and 7% VAT for everything including laundry. Noise heard in room, lack of free parking, concrete floors and walls, slow wifi connection. I read many positive reviews about the Yorkshire prior to booking. I booked a standard and was given a free upgrade to double deluxe, presumably because standard was full. I was very happy with the size of the room and the large plasma tv, numerous channels and clear reception. The mattress was very comfortable and the airconditioner worked exceptionally well. The staff was pleasant and friendly. I used the well equipped fitness center (for hotel standards) which was great (very clean), can definitely get a good workout in. The only con about the fitness center is that there were no towels, you have to take a very large towel from your room. The food was a little pricey, however the portions were very large and the quality and taste of the food was excellent. The portions are definitely of western standards and you will undoubtedly gain a few pounds/kilos if you eat here often.
Being weight conscious I would rather pay less for smaller portions. I encountered one problem, which involved the laundry service which I used daily. A pair of my new underwear was switched with a pair of very old underwear. Someones idea of a joke or something I guess. I returned the old underwear to the receptionist which is the laundry drop off point. My underwear were never found, but the hotel management purchased me a new pair comparable to the pair I lost. Overall my stay was great, would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.
Hotel Feature Tip : Can park in the rear of hotel for free during the day, but have to pay 50 baht in the evening. If you are already parked before night fall you don't have to pay. Access to this parking is from Rat U Tit, just before Tai pan disco.

Nice and big swimming pool. In center of town, walking distance to famous clubs and pubs from the hotel. Free highspeed Wifi. Service ends from mid-night. Safe is hard to use. Yokshere Inn is in the center of Patong town, close to decent restaurants and clubs. Also, mall and mart is in 5 min walk distance. I will definetely use this hotel again.
Restaurant Tip : Must try the Italian restaurant beside the hotel

Location - just across the road from Soi Bangla.
Reception staff - very pleasant and helpful.
Internet - free wifi in every room.
Dining - Good quality food and service. Room - very small standard room Very pleasant stay at the Yorkshire Inn. Standard room had all amenities however was very small indeed. Hotel located very close to all nightlife and entertainment. Dining experience of a high standard with good selection choices on the menu and superb quality food. Free wifi in every room was very convenient. Most importantly the friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel, but especially the reception desk, made my stay most enjoyable. Overall, the Yorkshire Inn was excellent value for money and I would definitely stay there again.
Hotel Feature Tip : Hotel airport transfer fee is 600 baht, however just across the road in Soi Bangla you can get very comfortable air conditioned saloon car service to the airport (40 minute trip) for only 200 baht.

Good atmosphere, friendly staff No Free Water, service charge Very dissapointed that no free water, and charged 40 baht for small bottle which sell for 9 baht at 7/11, Also got caught out with the 10% service charge, having said all that,
Good location, very friendly and helpfull staff, decor of hotel is good. Plenty of televisions and good selection of channels. Rooms well decorated, clean and well laid out.
Restaurant Tip : Watch out for the 10% service charge
