Large clean rooms, 15 min walk to the beach. Free internet service. Some of the decor is dated, but oh well. Tiger Inn Patong Beach came in as the most inexpensive hotel we could find in the area. This is our 4th time in Phuket and have stayed in many other hotels. Of all the hotels so far, Tiger Inn is by far the best, even when disregarding the price we paid for other hotels (some were more than double). The rooms are spacious, clean, with a large bathroom and a fridge too. Breakfast was included and you get a choice of a few options when ordering. Bangla Road is a 5 min walk away, and the beach is 15 min in the other direction. They set a higher standard for all other hotels in the area, even at a higher price point.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Tiger Inn provides beach towels too. Just ask for one at the front desk before you hit the beach, and return it at the end of the day.

nice big bed, clean rooms, internet, tv, 5 mins from Bangla road. Best bang for the buck a little far from the beach...keep in mind that this is relative...like a 10min walk is "far" haha go here! i was pleasantly surprised by the decor and the details of the room. It is large and spacious, and much more than what i expected. I had initially book only for 3 nights, intending to check out other places, but once i found this place i promptly booked for another 5.
To make it better, it should have a pool, and perhaps it could be closer to the beach. The restaurant prices seem a little bit high, but that wasn't a problem for me since we ate out every night anyway.
Once again it's hard to beat this price!

Location, room cleanliness, food, value for money. I don't understand why anyone would complain about this hotel. It is right in the heart of Patong, close to the beach, close to all the nightlife, and has great food at reasonable prices. I read a lot of the reviews before choosing this hotel and a lot of people complained that the staff did not speak English good enough. I never had a problem with this at all, but the reason they don't speak english that well is because they are Thai... Anyone wanting to come to Patong to party and go to the beach and just have fun, this is a great place and I would definitely stay here again.
Nightlife Tip : Go to Bangla road for a fun time at night... just avoid the lady boy bars.
