Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Twinpalms Hotel Phuket Info
Located on Phuket’s ‘Millionaires Row’ this resort is the perfect blend of boutique luxury with the relaxing tranquility.
This hotel has 97 light and airy rooms and suites that all face in to the central pool area, some even with direct pool access. Visit the well equipped modern gym and spend some quiet time in the library with a great selection of books.Very chic and popular Catch Beach Club restaurant has amazing oysters on ice and Spanish mackerel steaks, and the Sunday brunch here with good wine and smoked salmon are just legendary. Surin beach is situated just 175m across a park that used to be Thailand’s first golf course, but ride in a tuk tuk painted in Twinpalms jet-black, for great fun and you will be wishing that the beach was further away.

1 the grand deluxe palm rooms are lovely - if possible ask for one on the ground floor as then you can walk out of your"balcony" into the gardens.
2 The staff were lovely, friendly and welcoming.
1 The open plan bathrooms were a great concept, however... open plan toilets take some getting used to!
2 You will be told when you check in that you can have 6 bottles of water per dayt included in the room rate - you really have to ask for them!!!
3 We found that we were also having to ask for soap.
4 In the eveningas if you are sitting on your balcony you will need to get your own mosquito coils - they provide matches but no coils....
The bathroom was amazing (toilet notwithstanding). The pool is far less busy then the beach where you really do need to get there by 10 to grab a sunbed. The club area at the beach is aimed at the more mature crowd - those that were at the Ministry in the 90's - now have children and are just a little "to cool for school). Chaps please pack your linen shirts, Vilebrequin shorts and Tods! Ladies - get your roots done, ideally no-one larger than a UK 10 please!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The beach was good but e found there were quite a few minute stinging jelly fish - if you take a trip to Laem singh beach - you can go via scooter or take a trip there on a longtailboat.
Scooter hire is plentiful we paid 300 baht a day - in Dec 2009, please be aware that the passenger does not have to wear a helmet BUT the driver does or there is an automatic 500 baht fine ... we didn't listen and got caught out! Phuket is very, very hilly so I wouldn't recommend anything less than a 100cc scooter.

- great beach club
- modern design
- clean rooms
- excellent food and drink
- not on the beach, but short walk to the beach
Twinpalms was the perfect location to stay for a week, relax and do nothing. The location isn't right on the beach but the hotel is really well designed, the staff are lovely, the food is great and the beachclub is fantastic. Had a great few days and would definitely recommend it to others. Probably best for adults rather than kids.
Shopping Tip : Aman tailors did me a couple of great suits.

Romantic,small but nice boutique resort
No direct beach access, transportaion control by mafia like taxi group in front
Our Group have 3 rooms at the twinpalms arriving at different dates. We were pleasantly surprised by the natural beautiful setting of the resort. Reception staff is very courtous and friendly. The first day went great with the help of the weather. The second evening, we were planning to go to Lotus restaurant, a seafood restaurant about 15 minutes by Taxi but unfortunately we have to cancel due to the storm and have to have dinner at the hotel (same place that we have breakfast each morning). We were shocked by the bill. For 7 persons we were charged almost US$600.00 (normal order of salad, main course, dessert and 1 bottle of wine). Well, we would not mind if the food was good. It was just so..so.
My wife and I also experience another bad experience. We call for an official Taxi (metered) to pick us at the hotel. He was chased by the Taxi drivers stationed in front of the hotel (who would charged at least 3 time without meter). The driver was so scared and ask us not to call his company again for Taxi. These two events were the only bad experience we had. In general, the 5 days experience at twinpalms were quite OK.
