White sand hotel-a true disappointment

Phuket is a nice place for holiday but staying in the white sand hotel just spoil everything..when we arrived at the hotel the staff couldn't provide us with the room as promised..have to wait quite a while then we only can check in..room is quite big but air conditioning not working at all..requested for iron board not provided..not worth the price paid..a true disappointment..
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Please survey around town for a gud price for all the excurtion in Phuket..fantasea is a must see and phi phi island hopping is highly recommendable =)

Hotel staffs were friendly and helpful whenever I need any assistant The location was decent too, just a few minutes walk to beach and some others happening areas.
However, the food was quite minimal. Not much choice to choose from. It is quite noisy at nite, u might feel annoying if you prefer to relax at quiet place.
In overall, it is still recommended for the price we paid. Will come back for next trip.

overall, the hotel is not so good. The room was dirty, old, small, smelly, expensive, service was bad, food was not nice at all. The only good thing i can think of is it is really close to the beach.

I booked 5 days and got a free upgrade to a suite. Friendly staff were helpful in all ways. Both the beach and nightlife are just a few mins walk from here. The hotel has pretty much everything you'll need from a seven eleven, massage, bike rentals etc etc around it. They do not charge you extra for a guest. The food is not that great, but who cares there's a ton of places to choose from anyways. It's a decent deal for anything lower than 2000 bath.
Nightlife Tip:
Wanna be in the centre of nightlife but stil want a nice quiet place to sit, enjoy a drink and watch people without bar girls and ladyboys haggling you, visit Tantra bar on Soi Easy, under Hollywood disco. Great place.

White sand Resortel is a little hard to find. apart from that being so close to the beach and restaurants and other facilities, the resortel is a great place to stay if you want a travel free Patong stay. The rooms are a little dark and looking a tad old but all the amenities are all there and the staff are very helpful and very friendly, checking in and out and requesting additional amenities was a breeze.

location is very close to the Patong Beach (approx. 3 minutes walking distance)

it is pretty disgusting. my sheets had stain on it. Staff did not refill toilet paper.
and everything in the room seems to either be broken or on the verge of breaking down. Feels like sleeping in an expensive Hostel.
Travel tip:
Go to Koh Samui, if you love relaxing and sun bathing, but hate the chaotic and over populated beaches.

Location was great short walk to patong beach and about 10min walk to nightlife and shopping centre.loads of places to eat.Personally i wouldnt go back the staff at the hotel were great allowing us to check in early etc.didnt use the pool 2 small.basically a hotel you get for a cheap price before i stayed at the tara patong
