Good location in karon beach
The hotel has good but expensive restaurant, good location (the beach is across the road) and a nice pool. The little travel agency within the hotel was the cheapest place we found to book a taxi to the airport.

We enjoyed our stay, but we were not overly impressed by the hotel's service. Many times, we had to remind the reception more than once in order to get servic.

A nice hotel but a bit dated and tired

it's a nice hotel but the staff could do with being a bit more friendly and accommodating. we had room service a few times and the food was tasty and good value for money. the pool bar was expensive, but staff did allow guests to bring food from outside, even though the signs around the pool requested guests not to do so. the hotel is well situated in karon close to restaurants. tour guide service was very helpful to organize car rental and day trips.

beautiful hotel with all facilities

i will completely reccommend this hotel as one of the best i ever been to, big room, big swimming pool, good food and service as i can not find any faults. we enjoy our time when we stay there. the hotel just opposit the beach, so you can enjoy both play around in the beach and come back for pool in the hotel later. one more thing, i forgot my gold necklace in the room and check out already, when i phone back to hotel, the hotel kept the necklace for me. many thanks for this!!

Woraburi Phuket "Last" Resort & Spa

We stayed at the Woraburi over Christmas and New Year. Having stayed at hotels all over the world, from the cheapest to some of the most expensive, the Woraburi was disappointing from a value for money perspective and was very overpriced.
Reasons for this:
- the compulsory gala dinners on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve had a poor quality and selection of food, even more so considering their price. A simple walk along Karon Beach finds your hotels with better selections and I would wager a similar price.
- the internet wasn't free. This was extremely annoying. They have basically outsourced their internet to an external company, who of course charge. All the other hotels offer a free service.
- cleanliness - flies on the breakfast buffet, stains and spillages around the place that weren't cleaned up, room service plates left outside rooms for 2-3 days. In short, not great at all.
- brown water - the water was always brown when we first turned on the taps and took quite a while to run clear. Not comforting.
Given the above we actually did enjoy our stay and it's not a bad place per se, my point is more that at the price point they charge it doesn't make you feel you are getting anywhere near value for money. We were in Phuket with lots of friends staying at different places and suffice to stay we felt like we had got the raw deal!
Hotel Feature Tip:
Don't buy the internet, walk out the hotel and use the free WiFi at the Movenpick's cafe next door (right out of the front of the hotel).

Big rooms in a great location

we only stayed overnight at the hotel, while our friends stayed there for a week. the hotel is very well maintained, clean and friendly staff. it is in a very good location, straight across the road from the beach and right next door to one of the biggest markets in phuket. the pool is very clean, with a swim up bar for food and beverages, staff very jovial.

Red Onion Restaurant, is great for a little difference

Great room but no privacy

The staff were lovely and the service was excellent. The only down side was the fact that from our wonderful pool access room, we had communual sunbeds directly opposite us, which were in continuous use, so everyone could see into our room, the whole day long. We did ot want to close our curtains as we were travelling with two small children who wanted to look out the window.

Quiet hotel with nice pool acces.

We stayed there for 3 nights and had nice stay. Friendly staff, okay pool and the rooms were fine. The smell at the room were not that nice. 5min. walk to the busy side of Karon town. We were travelling with a 8 month old boy and it was very convenient to live in the ground floor, so we had the the pool acces.
Restaurant Tip:
Go to the Two Chefs at karon.!

Nice hotell near the beach, with calm swimming area "inside" the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff, specially the drivers.
The hotel looks "well used" and should be a bit cleaner, specially in the Breakfast/Restaurant area (we saw a large rat running over the breakfast area one of the days, just have to say).
But all in all nice hotell, and just cross the rather heavy trafficed road to get to the beach. Takes 1-2 minutes.
Shopping Tip:
Go the the "Old Phuket" road right south of the hotel (1 minute walk) and buy some tailor stuff from the tailor right next to the door. Good service and very good result.
