Generally good hotel but some things could have been better. The Hotel charged us and all other guests for a compulsory Christmas buffet, which was overpriced and forced us to change our evening plans. The tour desk at the hotel was not professional. The independent tour operators just outside the hotel were friendlier, cheaper and more reliable. Internet was not free at the resort. At this price point I would have expected internet to be free. And the signal in the room was weak even though we had to pay for internet.

hotel is located at karon beach. hotel room is very spacious, nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. toilet space is sufficient, nice and clean. hotel service is ok. karon beach is just across the road form the hotel. it is quiet and has very big waves during high tide. there are lots of eateries nearby and there is also a shopping market nearby.

The hotel is in a great location right beside plenty of markets and near to some great restaurants. The restaurant in the hotel does an ok breakfast and the pool is a feature of the property. We found the staff friendly and helpful however no WiFi and the paid option was problematic as it only allowed one user at a time (travelling with two teenagers).
The real issue with this property is it is desperately in need of a major renovation very tired.

Good location (Karon beach across the street). Quiet with private swimming pool. The disadvantage is that if you don't have own car, it is expensive to go to Patong beach by tai or tutu. Hotel provide free mini bus to Patong beach, but it runs only two times a day & one way only!

Good Location (Karon Beach just across the street)

The hotel locates just across the street from Karon Beach. It is quiet and has a private swimming pool. Our room is a bit small for two adults with one kid.
Overall, we recommend this hotel for budget travelers.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If you like night life, this hotel is too far from Patong beach where night clubs locate.

Fifth visit to Woraburi - that says it all!!

This is our fifth visit to Woraburi - we love it because it is semi-traditional, the staff are very, very friendly, the pool is glorious. The location is right next to the market and a few steps away from the beach. We have never been sick from the meals provided at Woraburi in all the time we have visited. We visited a near by 5 star hotel and the staff were not as friendly and the people staying there were not as social - I would never trade Woraburi for a 5 star hotel. The bath water is not clean when you first run it but eventually clears - these kind of things are what is expected in a country like Thailand.

Really nice hotel but in great need of maintenance, for example our family had 3 rooms at this hotel and we had to call for repairs to water leaking from the air conditioner and flooding the floor on 8 different occasions over our 10 day stay. The pool looked good but on using it there was quite a few broken tiles and we saw a little boy cut his foot on it. But we still had a good stay. The hotel looks good but needs proper maintenance. The breakfast were good and the restaurant was very pleasant and reasonable.

we had a pleasant stress free stay, all our needs were catered for. All requests e.g tea coffee milk were delivered within 15 mins. Towels were degrain but changed every day, beach towels were on demand changed daily.
Travel tip:
beware of taxes added to restraunt bills in some restraunts up to 20% extra. sea sometimes a little rough.
