isolated quiet but the entrance road is not good

The location of this resort is isolated from other resort with quiet and peaceful atmosphere,what i like in the hotel is surrounded wih many kind of trees.anyway the beach is not good to swim coz water is unclear and a lot of turbid. Breakfast is ok tatse is good for boiled rice and american breakfast is so so. This resort is not far from the seafood market or restaurants if you have a car but if you dont then to go out is not convenience. Overall is ok for me 3 stars
Travel tip:
You should have a car if stay here coz it is isolated location

Nice beach and swimming pool

We arrived, and the manager and staff were friendly and helpful. the room was nice, but needs some maintenance, seems rather old and uncared for, however it was clean and comfortable. The ids enjoyed playing on the beach and we were able to relax on the beach chairs. Also enjoyed the swimming pool. Meal options, aside from the hotel are limited, specially after the weekend, or better said, after lunch on Sunday, as it was offseason. It is best if you know local meals, and are able to speck a little of the local language. We went to the local town and got some local food. hotel food is good, but prices are a little higher. The beach was clean, however the sea had some rubbish in it, not sure where coming from, as the beach was not busy and people did not seems to trow things in it. As the place is located in from of Koh Samet, we believe this might be from the island, or the local village. Otherwise the sea would have been ideal.

for your relaxing time, i recommend you to stay here. this place was full with various of trees so you can have a shady feelung. beach was private, it was not crowded with many peope like somewhere else. there was also swimming pool if you'd like swim besides the sea. enjoy!

we rent on the last minute to avoid flooding in bangkok so we got garden view room. room is small but bed is clean. there is dvd player in our room also. swimming pool just reopen after close for renovate for two months. it's very nice and my kid loves it. food at the restaurant is delicious and not expensive.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Close to Ban Pae Market and Suan Son just 10 minutes drive. There are many seafood kitchens along the beach and shops for souvenir.

Nice resort in a secluded area
The Bann Pae Cabana is ideal for a romantic getaway or if you like it quiet.

We enjoyed our two night stay at the Bann Pae Cabana Hotel, although our bungalow was far too small for all of us (2 adults and 2 small children): could only fit a double bed (on raised floor and an extra mattress - nothing else! The suitcase had to lie on the floor in front of the door to the toilet/shower. Outdoors toilet/shower are great fun with children in the daytime, but at nightime I prefer to have a sink and loo indoors!!! The breakfast was ok and all the staff helpful. The beach is nice and secluded, but there is not much shade in the daytime.

Good hotel but unable to swim beach!
The Hotel environment, food, staff and pool are the great asset to this place. Once stay here we have nice & warm welcome by all the staff.

Wish the beach to be more clean and not so steep. It was too steep to be in the water especially for young children. Also lots of rubbish in the water.
Restaurant Tip:
Staying in the hotel is rather far from place to eat but the hotel restuarant has delicious food. It was only we arrived after the big group left so food & drinks choices were gone. You can go out to the near beach, lots of good food. (same price as the hotel though!)
