Good standard of hotel rooms, great pool area. A bit off location wise, but great if you want a relaxing stay. We stayed in two connecting double rooms, which was great for a family with two children. The restaurants within the hotel area offered good food and very welcoming staff but was a bit expensive. The pool areas were of good size, clean and offered entertainment such as table tennis, volleybolll etc which was very appreciated by the children.
Restaurant Tip : We had dinner at a small restaurant at the water's edge - I think it's called Jim's. If you enter the beach from the pool area and walk a few minutes to the left, it's built on bamboo poles and offers the best food, service and hospitality possible well priced. Most recommendable!

Good room size in relaxing surroundings. Great pool area. Can become a bit boring if you stay for several days Clean rooms of good size. Great pool area with a lot to do such as table tennis, volleyball etc. The resturants within the hotel area doesn't offer authentical thai food but more in french/italian style. Take a walk on the beach and you'll find several great restaurant with real thai food and with beautiful sea view.
Hotel Feature Tip : There are free shuttle buses a couple of times a day to Ban Peh.

We stayed one night then left for Ko Samet independently, the hotel looked after our bigger bags for free, stayed on Samet overnight then returned for another relaxing night at the novotel. A perfect 3 day break.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Use the free shuttle bus to the Ban Pae Pier and visit samet island for a night then return to Novotel to unwind after your adventure.

In my opinion, if you don't need much activities but you just need one wonderful place to take a rest for your holiay, then Novotel Rim Pae is the answer.

Big hotel and nice decoration with big swimming pool. Restaurant is great as well. Kinda far from the city and nothing much near by. It's good hotel to stay with family. Good food and comfy room including other activities.

The beach wasn't as nice as I thought it would be but relaxing by the pool was enjoyable enough.
We didn't venture outside the resort however I would recommend doing this for a few meals as the buffet style menus get a little tired after awhile & it isn't really traditional Thai food (very westernised)
Travel tip : Definately worth heading to nearby Koh Samet for a few nights

We would very much recommend this to hotel to other couples like us (29 years old) for a few days stay. For longer stays you run the risk of boredom since there isn't much to do around the resort. During Christmas there were a lot of families but that didn't bother us much. The beach next to the pool area was very calm and quiet.
Hotel Feature Tip : Free minibus transfer daily to and from Ban Phe, the pier with boats to Koh Samet. No problem going on daily trips Samet.

Place a clean environment, good food, very delicious. Hot water systems - to improve the cold temperature does not remain one moment cold and heat in rooms not brush and toothpaste. Suitable for families with children because children need love, swimming pool and sandy beach is immaculate. Room-standard. No big bed (King size) with double bed, but if children do not tend to be easy. If sea-weary Hua Hin Tired of crowded Pattaya Rayong is an attractive alternative because of the clear sea.
