Hard to locate this hotel. Shower room awful

Arrived late at night, dark ally, not appear on any GPS or map, th eneighbours did not know of the place. The entrance is through a convinance shop that was closed at night; had to call the owner to wait ourside. very small rooms, dirty shower, full of insects. was impossible to make the hot water works, we had to switch rooms for shower.

Satisfied guests.
We enjoyed the friendly attentive service. When we needed an ATM, Palm drove us into town. The food was excellent, and we could choose how spicy we wanted it. It was easy to go to the elephants,

Lovely. The only small problem was that the mattress was very hard. We were given something to put on top of it, but it didn't help very much. It wasn't hard enough to make us want to leave though, because we felt otherwise at home and well looked after.

our stay at this hotel was made very pleasant by the wonderful helpful staff. nothing was too much trouble .we had a five am train to catch and the waitress//cook/receptionist got up and drive us to the train station.
she also suggested many interesting walks, and other activities including a visit to see elephants nada walk across the original river bridge which made for great photos , i would recommend this hotel to any
traveller who wants to relax for a few days and soak up an authentic thai country experience.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
bridge over the river kwai. the historic trip along the rive is a once in a lifetime experience and i would recommend it to all as it is such a great learning experience. you come away with an appreciation on what the soldiers or prisoners or war experienced in the building i'd the burma railway.it is a deeply and profoundly moving experience which all young australians , british and dutch would benefit from.
