Great Hotel. We recommend as a hotel all travelers should stay when ever they want to visit samui. Staff are very co-operative , Food is really good, Rooms, Amenities all are par excellence. My best wise to team Akyra Samui. Perfection Need no change.

The Akyra is a quite stylish, well-managed hotel on the Northern end of Chaweng beach. Rooms are not very big - the term 'Suite' is a bit deceiving here as it is nothing more than a normal room. But again: The architecture and furniture are nice, and the bathroom at least is quite spacious. The pool area and bar are nice places to lounge for a sundowner. The pricing is very reasonable for Koh Samui standards. On the downside this is not the nicest part of Chaweng beach - if you are looking for really clean, white sand you better venture more to the middle of the beach (around the Central Samui Resort).

I stayed while a storm came over so most of the holiday it rained, but I still liked the hotel, one thing I though t was nice was when I needed to print off a hotel voucher for my trip back to Bangkok, the reception arranged the printing but no charge, not like the hotel in Bangkok which charge me 40B for printing my boarding pass.Did find the hotel expensive though but you have plenty of places around if need be.

Relaxing resort with excellent food,friendly staff

I found the staff to be very friendly and professional. The resort is positioned at the perfect distance from busy main strip of Chaweng beach. It has a nice pool area right on the beach front which the staff set up with torches and dining settings on the beach with muisc. They create a great, relaxing ambiance. The food in the resort is really nice with both Thai and Japanese options as well as seafood platters served right next to the sea. A great place to stay for a romantic get away or with friends alike. The rooms are very clen and tidy and comfortable. I really enjoyed my 10 days there!

We had a very comfortable stay at Akyra Samui and the staff made our stay even more pleasurable by their sheer courtesy and warm nature. The Italian food in the Japanese hotel surprised me as it tasted so good.The hotel provides you with everything that you need for a comfortable stay. the staff knows good english so communicating is not a problem and they guide you very well about the places to go and visit. They even arrange a romantic dinner by the beach. All in all you come back feeling very relaxed. My thumbs up to it.

the location is perfect, beatiful beach, you can do easy walk to chaweng center. we are going out to the bar at night and can walk back easy, no need to pay for expensive taxi. the room is value for money :)

Ok place for a few days
On the beach, ten mnute walk to center of town, nice room, no kids allowed so quiet.

Booked on agoda and forgot to choose room with breakfast. When i arrived they wouldn't change for me even though they had a sign stating rooms available at a lower price. I was asked to pay 4 times more for breakfast. That was a pattern of feelng like they were nickle and diming me, front desk staff not very friendly or helpful. All in all suspect lots of better spots at this price but ok if you are pressed. Btw bought breaksat once. That was enough at any price

Juste like Heaven!
Beautiful hotel. Spacious and comfortable Deluxe suite. Huge bathroom. Zen atmosphere. Very caring staff. Incredible pool and view. Delicious breakfasts!

Stayed 2 nights at Akyra Hotel which is ideal for holidays totally zen.
The setting is idyllic, the decor, the staff, the pool, the beach, the atmosphere .. everything is done to ensure we had a memorable time!
The breakfast is excellent, perfect to start a day by the pool and beach!
I highly recommend this hotel which is only 10min bars and restaurants on Chaweng beach.
Nightlife Tip:
Recommend Ark Bar for dinner and have a drink on the beach. Really nice music and staff.
Green Mango nightclub is nice to dance all night long!
