Great resort, right on the beach

We were travelling in a group of 7 girls and had 3 rooms at Al's resort. The room is pretty good, nice and clean with a separate bathroom and shower to the vanity. Has a safe and a wardrobe (robes and slippers too!). Has a massage place which over looks the beach which was great.
The pool is lovely with a swim up bar and the breakfast is pretty good with a good range.
Shopping Tip:
Koh Samui is definately the place to go if you want to shop! As well as market clothes they have stores which have top quality bags (they say they are fake however we think they are stolen off a truck)!

Great hotel, the bathrooms are really the only bad point, not good at all. The rest of the room and service was great.
Nightlife Tip:
Ask for recipt, when you pay bill, if you pay as you go. As we got charged twice at two bars Mambo, and the resterant on the south side of lendends. Was not happy with this rip off scam. We paid as we went, even tipped the waiter every round, then went too leave, and the manger, still still had a full check bin. This left a bad tastse in our mouths about koh samui. Have been there before, and had no problem, maybe the locals are trying to cash in on the last part of hi season

Lovely pool right on the beach
Close to main rd, and backs onto chaweng beach

The resort backs right onto the beach, and a restaurant is available if youre keen to dine on the beach.
The pool is beautiful and you can bask on the many beach chairs.
Has good breakfast and massage parlour.
Theres a Tops supermarket at the entrance to the resort which is really convenient
Close to the main bars/restaurants/shops on the main road.
Close to Ark bar and Soi Green Mango

The hotel looks very nice and has two swimming pools and more important, its also beach side. After walking up and down the shore we found that the beach of the hotel is one of the best around. The rooms are clean and well kept. When leaving they offer a to drive you to the airport with a big car and at any time - very nice and not expensive.
Internet is kind of bad and they offer only pre paid services.
The bathroom is the weakest part of the room - its clean but not so nice.
Restaurant Tip:
Theres a Thai restaurant right across the street thats very good but I can't remember its name. Sorry

Great location but mean manager
Location is in the middle of Chaweng Beach, just where you want to be

Rooms were comfortable, but lacked certain amenities and the bathroom needed upgrading. A fowl smell also came from the sinks when ever it rained. Location was perfect right in the middle of all the shops, restaurants and parties not to mention the hotel backed onto the beach. There was two pools which was great and one had a swim up bar. WiFi was available at a high cost. Most the staff was friendly

Overall, our stay at Al's Laemson Resort was great. It was a fairly new resort with nice rooms and very friendly and helpful staff. Only downfall was the food at the restaurant and was a bit far out from the main street in Chaweng.
