Defiantly the best location in Samui, beautiful pool right on beach and very good breakfast. rooms are very spacious and comfortable! bathroom is very small, shower not too good and not much hot water. beach infront of hotel is also quite dirty It was my 3rd time in Samui and Als resort was the cheapest hotel i have stayed in there and yet it was the best!!! the location was fantastic, the pool was beautiful with an excellent vibe right on the beach!! the rooms were very comfortable and spacious although the beds were very hard! the hotel is very well maintained. the breakfast is very good and is served in a beautiful area over lookin the beach!! only prob was the small bathroom with little hot water.
Hotel Feature Tip : the hotel is quite full with young people i.e. students with an exceelent vibe at the pool, music, loungers and bar in the pool! it is situsated in the heart of samui with superb shopping and restaurants on either side of the resort!

Brilliant position
Lovely swimming pool

Strict rules regarding swimming times and visitors
Could not get fresh swimming towels during the day What a pleasant surprise when we arrived at Als resort. The hotel is conveniently located in the centre of town (although also near all the smells that Phi Phi has to offer). Our room was small, but clean and welcoming. The swimming pool was small but beautiful, although there are deinitely not enough loungers so you ahve to get there early to secure a seat. The staff were warm and friendly. The only problem (which seems to exist at many of the hotels) is that you cannot swim after 20h00 or have visitors after 22h00 - and yes, these rules are very strictly enforced.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Recommend the half day trip which includes kayaking, Snorkelling and the exquisite Maya beach!

location was amazing. it was right on the beach and rooms were very clean and the hotel is great. The staff will help you with anything and right infront of the hotel is a supermarket for all your needs. nothing but good things to say about the place. this is a great place to stay. we stayed here for xmas and they made you feel so welcome and relaxed. The place is well taken care of and nothing but good things to say

The Room was ok. There is a "Top Market" supermarket very near. Very central location. Pool bar, where you can sit in the water. Young people around making (noisy) party. Bad breakfast. Not enough chairs at the pool/the beach. ist of all the deluxe villa we booked was not available, so we downgraded, to get somewhere near to the beach.
At the pool there are not enough chairs for every customer. So you have to lay on the beach on your towl (outside the resort).
The first night we had a big cockroach in the room. After killing him I called reception for cleaning it up. Their were very friendly and only two minutes later a cleaning team was at our room and cleaned up the floor.
My girlfriend got an allergic reaction to the bed sheets (this happend never ever before).
As mentioned here and every where else the breakfast is very poor and there not enough seats for every guest available.
As there were a few young guys renting the seafront villa (882) we had very loud music from there till 2 o'clock in the morning. Our room was 884.
The motor bike renting was 50 baht more than at our next/previous stay.
Nightlife Tip : Visit the party area around the Green Mango club.

-very good location
-the room is ok -poor bed
-the receiption staff is not that friendly and not good at English
-the food is so-so in hotel restaurant -very good location, especialy good for first time arrive at Samui, Top market (a small supermarket) in front of the hotel, which closes at 2a.m. 2 mins walk to the street, which full of shops, bars, restaurants, massage and every thing you want.
-beach in front of the hotel, quite good for us to wait and see the sun rise in the early morning
-we have our christmas eve dinner in front of the beach, but the food is just so-so, especialy the steak, awful! a little bit expensive...and we wait for quite a long time for our food
-one of the receiption staff is not that friendly

great location, if you want to be at the centre of chaweng.
nice room.
friendly staff.
if you want a room right on the beach, ask for rooms they don't come any better than that!
room service was okay, though it seemed expensive.
the staff were very friendly and prompt.
try to get early to the pool if you plan to spend the day there.
i certainly would stay there again.

No noise Maybe a bit negative receptionist Enjoyed our stay at Al'S Resort from 2 night to 5. Got a very good price at Agoda. The proximity to the beach and nightlife and to a reasonable price this is a very good option at Chaweng beach. Sunbeds either at the beach or be the pool. I am happy to stay.
Nightlife Tip : Good nightlife close by.

Daytime building work was noisy The Studio Room I had was a good size clean and very good value, it was also very close to the beach where they have plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas,there is a great swimming pool and pleasant staff. Al,s resort is in a great location for the nightlife and resturants at chaweng.

room are ok needs improvement & staff is ok Location of Hotel is good but room s are ok needs improvemts. Bed are uncomfortable and staff is not so helpful. Breakfast is bad. Flies are all over in breakfast room.

Super friendly staffs;
Nice and clean room...everything is looks pretty new.
Very convenience. Located at the heart of the entertainment zone in Chaweng.
A convenience store nearby, less than 5mins walk from the lobby.
Nice pools (yes, they have 2 pools).
easy access to the beach. The room we had is a abit small.
The water in the shower room didn't run out smoothly. I really enjoy my stay at the Al's resort. I was kinda taken aback when the moment I stepped into the lobby. But, when I was lead my the bellboy to our room, my thought had changed totally. The room was awesome. I like everything about this resort. For group of gals like us, this resort definitely a right choice for us. We feel safe to stay here. And, the location was just tooooooo strategic.
I will definitely stay here again if I'm back to KSM again.
Hotel Feature Tip : Go for the bigger pool which facing the beach. Is awesome!!!!!!
