Daytime building work was noisy The Studio Room I had was a good size clean and very good value, it was also very close to the beach where they have plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas,there is a great swimming pool and pleasant staff. Al,s resort is in a great location for the nightlife and resturants at chaweng.

in the center,quiet incredible beach, nice rooms - spacy and coasy.
you need to deposit 2000b to use safe in the room.
food in breakfast was not something at all.
staff was not very kind.
small pool nice resort- central location in Samui.
pool is very small, no sunbeds for everyone. breakfast was lousy.
rooms have nice space and balcony.

room are ok needs improvement & staff is ok Location of Hotel is good but room s are ok needs improvemts. Bed are uncomfortable and staff is not so helpful. Breakfast is bad. Flies are all over in breakfast room.
Nightlife Tip : Only location is good.

Super friendly staffs;
Nice and clean room...everything is looks pretty new.
Very convenience. Located at the heart of the entertainment zone in Chaweng.
A convenience store nearby, less than 5mins walk from the lobby.
Nice pools (yes, they have 2 pools).
easy access to the beach. The room we had is a abit small.
The water in the shower room didn't run out smoothly. I really enjoy my stay at the Al's resort. I was kinda taken aback when the moment I stepped into the lobby. But, when I was lead my the bellboy to our room, my thought had changed totally. The room was awesome. I like everything about this resort. For group of gals like us, this resort definitely a right choice for us. We feel safe to stay here. And, the location was just tooooooo strategic.
I will definitely stay here again if I'm back to KSM again.
Hotel Feature Tip : Go for the bigger pool which facing the beach. Is awesome!!!!!!

Great Location...Clean rooms.. by international standards a 3+ star which is rare in the hotels in Ko Samui... should stay in the deluxe bunglows rather than the garden ones. Restaurant closes very early. Room Service meny very limited..... Bar area very expensive need to bring your own alcohol... I stayed at Als Resort for the third time. being a very finicky person as to where I stay I found this hotel to be at a great location in the middle of everything on Chewang beach. It is great value for money too. A deluxe bunglow room is cheap and totally worth it.

This was a very clean and neat hotel. Close proximitiy to everything. Nothing. Very happy with this hotel. Al's resort was a very comfortable, clean and neat resort. Everything we needed was supplied for us. The breakfast was great. It was right on the beach and so close to the main street. It was extremely handy having a supermarket at the front of the hotel. My friend's and I would definately stay at Al's Resort again.
Travel tip : Al's Resort is extremely close to everything you could possibly need.

In the Central of the Chewang Beach The resort is in the central of the Chewang Beach. There are many restaurant, shops, bars or massage places nearby. The main swimming pool was closed for renovation during our visit, but we could still use another smaller pool.
We stayed at the courtyard. By looking from outside to the old wings, it should be worth for paying a little more at the newer courtyard.
The courtyard has a small backyard and is good for hanging the washed clothes. However, there is a bad smell probably from the drainage somewhere.
Travel tip : If driving from the airport on your own, look for the sign "Tops Market" at the main road to find the resort. The "Tops Market" is a supermarket just outside the resort.

It's not actually a resort...as in, no massages, no beauticians etc..i guess they were all around though Overall I enjoyed staying at Al's Resort. It suited my purpose. I think shared private courtyards/pools should be kept to simply those who have paid for it. I noticed outsiders from the hotel visiting private pools etc..not a big deal really. Great, beautiful hotel/apartment style.

Good location, nice swimming pool, clean rooms. The entire resort is getting a bit old (should be refurbished). Al's resort is good value for money. It's in a good location on Chaweng beach, and has a really nice swimming pool looking out onto the ocean. The rooms are clean too. The only downer is, that the resort is getting a bit old and could do with a refurbishment.
Travel tip : There's a place called Dr.FISH outside the front of Al's Resort (on the main road), which offers a therapy session using Garra Rufa Fish. You must try it. It's fantastic!

Great location in the middle of Chaweng Beach - well appointed, clean and spacious rooms The whole place stinks of sewage - this I belive has more to do with the open drains around the place than anything - but it does stink - thankfully we were only staying one night before moving on to Koh Tao. This would be a great hotel , location ect ect....bar the stinky sewage problem.

they don't refill the soap and other cleaning. the breakfast is very poor.the entrance to hotel is poor. they don't have lobby. we are so unsatisfied ! I didn't like this hotel. I asked 2 room with conection, but the lady in the desk front, lied to me, and sais that they don't have rooms with conection between them. In the next day, i saw in my eyes they have, but she lied to me again. they don't arrange the rooms. they don't refill the soap and other cleaning. the breakfast is very poor.the entrance to hotel is poor. they don't have lobby. we are so unsatisfied !

Located right on the beach, about the middle of Chaweng. Pool overlooks the beach and has a bar in it. Supermarket right behind the resort, very handy for antthing that you forget to bring with you. We stayed here with my daughters when they came to visit us in Thailand. We all had a great stay at Al's resort and really enjoyed the location. We stayed in what would be regarded as stage two of the complex, it is where they have a series of dulpex buildings that are well appointed and built around the pool that overlooks the beach. The breakfasts are good also.
Nightlife Tip : The Reggae Club is worth a visit. We also highly recommend seeing the Caberet show, the 'girls' really put on a good show. We make a point of seeing the show every time that we go to Samui.

Good room, best location on the beach. This was a pretty good stay for the price. I stayed at Island resort last time but wanted a better section of beach further south. Pools were both nice. The breakfast was good as well. Next samui trip I will probably stay here again. The front desk was helpful in booking tours.
