Hotel did not have PC available for guests It was pretty close to the beach, you can see the sea during breakfast, nice and quiet. The open-air style bar was open until 1am so you can have nice time relaxed(though you have to fight mosquitos!!)
The room was spacious, bed was comfortable without any problems. would like to stay again.
Nightlife Tip : Quite safe even midnight.

location, ambience, friendly staff, food/dining, cleanliness perfect location and by far the best resort on chaweng beach. extremely friendly staff and would look after you 24/7.
Nightlife Tip : about 10 mins walk from the resort there is a street called green mango where one would find all the clubs and pubs to party all night.

there are two sides to the hotel- one near the beach and the other side of the hotel. the cheaper rooms are on the other side of the road. nice stay

Beautiful, relaxing environment! We felt the room (deluxe) was a little bit small. The hotel was in beautiful, relaxing environment. The staffs were friendly and polite. The Italian restaurant of the hotel was really delicious and we ate there twice within three days. Yet, the only thing that I was not really satisfied was the room. Though we stayed in a deluxe room. we felt it a little bit small. But we really enjoted. Want to come again!

great hotel, very scenic, detailed decor, good ambience and good service. slightly smaller room than usual standard size rooms in most hotels. We stayed 2 nights in Amari, beautiful setting, great ambience by the pool side with nice lounges and bar facilities.The staff was very courteous, the room wa nice but a little bit on the smaller size yet adequate! The food was delicious and cocktails were good (we asked for them to be stronger and the bar manager obliged)breakfast was very detailed and extensive. The pool opens on to the beach which is nice and clean and away from the more hectic end and the coral reef. Overall, will go back again as it is good quality and value for money.
Travel tip : Shopping, restaurants and nightlife is very close by, certainly better part of the Chawang beach than being close to the grand Centara.

Well decorated and maintained hotel. Helpful staff. Nice swimming pool. Excellent breakfast buffet. Relatively quiet for Chaweng Beach. Beach by hotel is too shallow for swimming. Hotel was pretty nice and good value for Chaweng Beach. Afterwards, we probably would have stayed on a more quiet part of town but overall experience was pretty good.

Nicely designed hotel and rooms
Perfect location in Chaweng
Good breakfast Resort is big and involves a little walking Amari is a very good choice for a quality stay in Samui. Having a lot of rooms, its prices are very good value for money.
The design of both the hotel and the rooms is very good: for example, the 2 swimming pool areas are very pleasant, and the rooms have efficient and well adjustable air conditioning (no direct flow on the bed).
The location is just perfect, as it is close to Chaweng beach (5 minute walk), but not too close (which would imply a lot of noise and some bad smell from the dirty water system in that area...).
Breakfast is very abuandant and good.
On the cons, the resort is big and some rooms are a little far (2 minute walk) from the restaurant.
Overall, a very good pick in Chaweng
Restaurant Tip : For dinner, try the restaurants on Chaweng beach: ambiance is very nice, the fish is very fresh, and prices are extremely good value for money.

staffs are nice and care about you and remreber you! the room is nice and relax, swimming poor is good and relaxing ! Breakfast is the best one! I didnt feel like go out anymore when I in the hotel. location is ok as well. The staff is kind and serve you well. The quality of the breakfast is the best that I ever had.

Quiet and beautiful location, yet a walking distance from all the fuss. Great sandy beach. Rich breakfast buffet. Very friendly and helpful staff, except for the lounge bar that was always slow and argumentative. Rooms are smaller than one would expect from a hotel of this class, yet pleasant. We had a great time at the Amari. Most of the rooms are across the main road and only a few are close to the beach. We would prefer the rooms at the beach side. perfect locations for families that want to have the option to walk to the more "touristic" parts of Chaweng but yet be pretty isolated from the hussle. Prego is an excellent Italian restaurant with reasonable prices.
Will certainly recommend to friends.
Hotel Feature Tip : Why pay high Thai massage at the hotel beach pavillion, when nearby facilities have it too.

Quiet end of town, lovely service, beautifully presented. Had my birthday whilst there and they presented me with a lovely cake and flowers. After reviewing alot of review on the agoda website I decided to say at the Amari Reef Resort. It lived up to all the great reviews. Breakfast was great with a changing of variety of the food on offer and there was lots. Plenty of sun beds and great cocktails. The resort was spotless and everything look very well maintained.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Traffic ok and comfortable hiring a motorbike and traveling around the island.

Nice, clean rooms, well-kept and scenic grounds, courteous staff. Not sure they can do anything about this but having most of the rooms across the road from the beach is not optimum. Very limited parking for those guests opting to rent a car--although I fully concede most do not. Overall it was a pleasant stay. We've stayed at the Amari in several locations and have always received the same professional and courteous service, and the rooms and surroundings are predictably Amari-esque. It's nice to know what to expect and to have that delivered each time at Amari (Koh Chang and Pattaya are the other two loctions we've stayed at). Breakfast buffet is one of the better ones too.
Nightlife Tip : Try the Reggae Pub--it's "less loud" than most of the other clubs.

Very friendly staff, big rooms, clean and good service. Nice pools, regularly cleaned beach. This time the hotel was very full. It seemed like the management sold out the rooms with some promotions, which raises down the overall personal level of the guests. For example now here also the annoying reservation of the pool chairs with towels starts 8.00 in the morning.
Unfortunately no smoking room available. All in all, still my favourite in Chaweng.
Restaurant Tip : For diner, chose one of the small local restaurants outside in Chaweng.

Great PADI dive centre at the resort pools were very hot...almost too hot to be refreshing on hot days The Amari Reef resort in Chaweng was a very nice place to stay. It has a lovely interface with the beach, is on a quieter part of Chaweng, has a terrific breakfast buffet, nice rooms.Staff very helpful and polite.It also has a great PADI dive centre at the resort (Discovery).
I would happily stay there again on a future visit to Chaweng.

The hotel is modern, has two nice swimmingpools, friendly staff, very clean and most of all... the restaurant 'Prego' is really best of the best. Little bit to busy when we stayed here. Small bathroom. These guys mean business when it comes to food prices and laundry. Our stay at the Amari Reef Resort was really fantastic. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The resort is located at the Nothern part of Chaweng beach. It takes a short walk to the center, but is not a bad thing cause the beach is more quite in the north. Food and drinks are excellent and the rooms (we slept in a family house in the garden) are large and fully equipped. Except the bathroom which was a bit small. Love to go here again!
