The price we paid for a 5 star resort was in no way in terms of staff service, room comfort and cleanliness compared to the 3.5 stars we stayed for 3 days before moving to Amari to try out different resorts. It actually cost 35% more but the service and comfort were 50% less.
- Hotel Feature Tip : Don't be afraid to try ratings like 3 to 3.5 stars hotel resort at Koh Samui. You'll be surprise what you get compared to the 5 stars resorts.

Great resort, excellent location- close to the center of Chaweng, but still not in the middle of the crowd
- Restaurant Tip : Prego - one of the Amari's restaurant is a great Italian restaurant. International level

Good choice of breakfast and the beach is at your doorstep, this hotel has everything you need.
- Nightlife Tip : Bars and food places are all close by. Visit Green Mango and Reggae bar.

Good selection of breakfast and the swimming pool has a good bar and food service.
- Restaurant Tip : Nearby is the town centre with good variety of foods; you will not go hungry as there is so much to choose from.

We booked two superior rooms for seven nights recently at the Amari and were pleasantly surprised when we were upgraded to deluxe rooms at no extra cost. Our rooms were on the top floor of a two-story villa and privacy was assured as we were the only ones on that floor.
The hotel is close to shops and restaurants at Chaweng; we walked there daily with our 5-year-old. A mini-bus to the airport costs just 250 baht and you get there in 10 minutes.
We will stay at the Amari again as we loved the spacious rooms, grounds and peacefulness of the place.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Pink dolphins and the Angthong National Park are must sees. Do go for the zipline canopy adventure as well.

We booked through the internet, stayed for a week, seeing other properties we made the best possible choice and would not hesitate to book again or recommend it to friends.
- Restaurant Tip : For off-property dining, check out Poppies and The Red Snapper and for night life, the "Star Bar" after 9:00 pm
