Good location, only 10m along the beach to the road into Fisherman's Village. Beautiful setting (gardens, pool etc). The food was fantastic but a little expensive. The staff were very attentive and the welcome on arrival made us feel special.

The room felt a little "tired". It was clean but not 5 star standard.

We chose Anantara in Bophut Koh Samui for a short break. Overall we enjoyed our stay there, the staff were excellent and the location is just a short stroll away from Fisherman's Village. The food was a little expensive and the room felt a little "tired" but overall we were pleased with our choice of hotel and would choose it again if we returned to Bophut.

Immaculate gardens and pool. Attentive Staff. Relaxing environment and good location.

No weaknesses that we could see.

The location of the Resort is excellent, as it is an easy walk to the Fisherman's Village which caters to tourist needs. Above all the Resorts' ambiance was beautiful and relaxing and the day can easily be filled by lounging in the gardens by the Lilly pond watching the world go by. The infinity swimming pool added to this sense of relaxation as you gaze out to sea. Would certainly recommend this Resort to others who are seeking a relaxing time at a smaller more exclusive hotel.

Restaurant Tip : Good local restaurants in the Fishermans' village which is easily accessible from the Resort.

Quiet end of Koh Samui - with still plenty of restaurants to choose from.

Room not as big as we thought

The Anantara resort was nice, in a quiet location with still plenty of other restaurants to choose from. From the internet we assumed the rooms would be bigger, it may have been worth looking into the suites. Dinner on the beach was nice and in a location where others don't bother you.
