Wouldn't stay anywhere else

Our stay at Ark Bar was amazing! It was recommended to us by friends who had stayed here, if you are heading to Koh Samui to party, don't book anything else.
The First night we arrived there was a beach party on, which was real fun (Don't try and sleep before 2am though, because the music and party don't stop until then.) The Restaurant walks straight on to the sand, and breakfast is included, guests are given five options to customize their own big breakfasts which are delicious(the poached eggs were devine.)
We were able to hire motobikes directly from the hotel, the resort is located perfectly for other aspects of night life, shopping and eating.
We hired a driver who took us to the waterfall for 2 hours we toured around in an amzing car for 1000bath (there was 6 of us.)
Our rooms air-con wasnt working properly and when i informed reception they said they would call out a technician but due to this they instantly moved us to another room and upgraded us from surperior to deluxe due to the inconveniance.
I cannot speak higher of this resort and i would not recommend staying anywhere else especially if you like to party :)
Nightlife Tip:
Try Ark Bar's Strawberry Mojito's and go to Captain Kirk's Thai which is next door to Ark Bar, their Beef Panang curry was great.

Happening hotel
Most happening (probably the only) beach party hotel @Chaweng Beach, Koh Samui

Located in the heart of town, 2-5 minutes walk and you will find McDonald, 7-eleven, bars & pubs, restaurants, etc etc.
Very happening beach party almost every night and the party normally ends at 1am (or later during special occasion), and you can hear noise while you are in room.

Busy hotel on the beach, lively bar and pool area. DJ's and music on the go. Great becah party. not recommended if you want a quiet hotel!

the superior rooms were very basic but were good enough for our purposes. the hotel is in a great location just a short walk away from the main nightlife and shops, but far enough away that you can still have a quiet night's rest. the diving package that you can get while staying at the hotel is great and the staff is very helpful. the new villas that were built looked amazing but were a bit out of our price range! the only con was that the towels that they provide cannot be taken to the beach, which is different to all other hotels. we had to buy beach towels but it was not a big problem. the food at the restaurant was great and very reasonably priced!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Definitely take a longtail boat to Nang-Yuan Island. Its 10 minutes away and one of the most beautiful places on earth!

We loved Ark Bar! It was full of people our age as well as families. The staff were very helpful. The menu was very big and everything we tried was delicious. Don't stay here if you are looking for somewhere quiet, the loud music plays all day long.

if you are 18-35 then this is the hotel for you in koh samui. we had room 101 and couldnt be any closer to the music or pool etc. if you are going to try and stay in one night....good luck! but who comes to thailand to stay in? foods great, would definitely recommend the caeser salad.
Nightlife Tip:
Green Mango club is best for tourist parties. Ark bar for beach party every weds and fri

good party hotel!

loved the great music and nightlife, however there was music playing almost all day long! if you are wanting a more romantic feel i'd pick a hotel further along the beach. however, the rooms were great, and the service was fantastic too!
