Close to everything and nice small rooms

We stayed all week mainly because of the closeness to all main places!!the rooms are small but include everything!the bed is hard and good for people suffering from ack pains but not comfortable for everybody the pillows are the same!the hotel is mainly a huge bar and disco on the bitch very cool and full of night life in the eve with lsd and pool tables and lots of nice tables and poofs on right on the beach!we thought the pool was nast and salty maybe water from the sea and didnt enjoyed it!but there is smaller pool right next to the big which is great!you have good wifi in the room.need pass every two days from the staff!they cleaned our room good every day and the options of turist egen ies and bike rent near are great!! We had a room far from the bar so we hadnt any noise but if you will stay. Ear u would probably suffer from that!

Ark Bar is one of the big party bars on the beach, so the "house" music is pretty steady all day and most of the night. There is also some construction going on, but apart from the noise this was a good value, nice to have a dvd, and the free wireless worked in most places, although some rooms get better reception than others. Food and drink are plentiful nearby, but the pools are great in this resort.

Lovely place,hotel with a feel of a hostel. Too many blood suckers in the rooms, I hope it was only mosquitoes.....

everyone comes to the ark bar to hang out at night so if you don't want to walk far to be part of the early night action on the beach go here :) i wouldn't recommend it for young families, only singles and young people.
Restaurant Tip:
take a 15 minute walk (left as you come out on the main road) and go to ninja crepes restaurant. best restaurant in the world... doesnt look like it but the food it amazing!

I really enjoyed my stay here. Great hotel, with a beachfront location in Chaweng. Two great bars and pools. Really nice atmosphere. Will definitely stay here again.

Good party resort in the heart of Chaweng
good party atmosphere, perfect location in Chaweng, located right on the beach

Ark Bar boasts a great party atmosphere with live DJ's set right off the beach. It is also set in the heart of Chaweng making restaurants and bars very accessible. The rooms are slightly small but have everything you need. Would definitely recommend this resort, but only for young people.

Great hotel during low season

Have stayed at the Ark Bar many times and I've always been happy with everything. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Nat, who works the reception, remembered me from a previous trip and was very courteous and friendly upon my arrival. The pools are great and there are three of them so you don't have to worry about crowds. Will definitely return again. The price during low season ideal. I checked out the price at Christmas and believe there are better options in Chaweng, but then again at the Ark Bar you are paying for the location.

Convenient location with a lot of Activities
Good location with all the dinning, shopping and services required by tourist.

The room is comfotable and clean. But the room opposite balcony is a bit near.
The noise at the bar/beach could be disturbing if the room is near by.
The breakfast is good.
We can enjoy 3 pools of different crowds.
The night party or dinning at the beach at night is something to remember.
