It is simply layed out, and there are no hotel grounds, just the rooms really. There is a small reception area at front, and then a long pathway down to the beach, with the two stories of rooms on your right. At the end of the path is a nice enough pool (the kind you'd have in your home) and a small bar/restaurant seating area. There is a good wifi signal in the reception area that is free to use. The plus is that it has direct beach access, and the restaurant tables and chairs sit in the sand. Drink prices were reasonable but the breakfast was poor. The hot food sat 'warm' with plastic wrap over the top, without heating, so we got old, rubbery, lukewarm hot breakfast food. The quality of our room was fair. It was a large, spacious room, but somewhat rundown. The bathroom was in poor condition, quite grubby with a toilet seat that kept falling off. The bedsheets had stains on them, and the AC did not work very well. While the restaurant staff were friendly and attentive, reception staff were generally dismissive. No smiles, no offers of assistance, just blank stares at our simple requests for advice on ferries and services in the area. We paid about $65USD for our room, and the service and amenities we received were simply not worth the money. Had the room rate been in the $15-$25 range, I would have been satisfied.
