excellent location, great pool, nice rooms, close to beach
Loud live band every night till midnight if you at front of hotel
stayed at the Baan Samui for eight days in Sep. Hotel is right on the main strech of Chewang Beach so perfect for seeing everything! The hotel itself is in great condition, looks lovely, and is right on the beach so you can be in the sea within 2 mins of leaving your room. The rooms are a great size well decorated and all have either balcony or terrace. The hotel pool is lovely too. and hotel has a happy hour on beer and cocktails between 3pm and 6pm i think it is! 90 bhat for any cocktail! always a winner with me! :-) all in all a great hotel and i got yet another great deal by booking through Agoda!
Shopping Tip : shopping area literally across the road from hotel entrance! other side beach!

Location is unbeatable, great value for money.
No Australia channel or kids cartoon channel on TV
As a family with a 7 year old, we loved Baan Samui. The garish colours might not suit some, but we thought it was fun. Very friendly, we even booked the wrong night and they let us change it free of charge. Very good value for money with an excellent location. Rooms nice, all good
