After staying at Kirikayan for the same price, I was a bit disappointed by the Bandara. The hotel is clean and offers nice access to the beach. But the service is much less personal than at Kirikayan. The beach is very hard to walk on. Room service and restaurants are quite expensive and not that great. They almost always got our order wrong. I think better value can be found elsewhere.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Make sure you book a trip to the marine national park. A highlight.

not many rooms have sea views. we got a great deal on the price for this hotel from agoda. so it was excellent value. we stayed from 11 to 17 december which is in the rainy season but it never actually rained at all but much of the fishermans village in Bo Phut was closed as many businesses use this period to do repairs and renovations.
for us the hotel we great value,the rooms are a little dated bu well maintained and kept very clean.
there are two pools with plenty of sunbeds at least for the numbers staying at the time .
there is a good snack menu and drinks are reasonably priced,
hotel is about 7 mins walk along the beach to the village which has plenty of good value restaurants and shops.
it isnt as refined as the anantara but or the bophut resort, both of which are much more costly and spa but isnt that different and is better value than both.
Travel tip : scooter hire is 200 bht or less per day from the travel agent at the entrance to the fishermans village.
the french restaurant in the village has very good food as does starfish and coffee.

Pool bar lunch menu rather expensive We stayed at Bandara resort and spa for 5 nights. It is an amazing resort, from the moment we arrived we had impecable service. The resort grounds are stunning and it truly felt that we were being spoiled for our whole stay! We visited the spa and this was fantastic, again amazing staff and we were so relaxed by the end. The food in the restaurants is great, our only minor complaint was that the pool bar food menu although very nice was rather expensive for a quick pool side snack. However we would definitely visit this resort again if we come back to Koh Samui
