Room and hotel very Clean, exceptionally helpful staff, Great location, lovely swimming pools and right on the beach, service second to none loved everything, no complaints what so ever This hotel was fantastic, I would recommend it to anyone traveling to Koh Samui who prefers not to be in the bustling area of Chaweng, but no too far away from all the action also. The hotel was immaculate and the service impeccable. The rooms had everything one needed for a comfortable stay and were serviced 2/3 times a day. The hotels other facilities, i.e swimming pool, bars etc were all very good also. Its right on the more secluded beach in the fisherman's village, which has less resorts along than many of the other beaches. I would strongly recommend this to any couples but the hotel is more than suitable for families also. Very Impressed!!
Restaurant Tip : The best restaraunts on the island we found were in the fishermans village which is basically on your door step in this hotel. The restaraunts elsewhere i.e in Lamai and Chaweng are usually a bit more expensive and not as good, we got the feeling of being a bit rushed as well as they wanted to turn the tables as they are more populated areas. Enjoy!

Incredibly nice spa and restaurant on the beach. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Staff was extremely warm. I visisted Bandara as a solo traveler, so I was a bit worried that it would be too focused on couples, but I was pleasantly surprised. Although it would have been a great destination for a couple as it was very romantic, it was wonderful still. It is quite a spread out resort with great rooms and notable restaurant/spa. Ended up spending almost all my time at Bandara because it was so great.

Well appointed rooms The airline lost our luggage. The staff seemed more concerned about how much they would have to charge us for making a call from reception to locate the luggage than actually sorting it out. Bandara Resort and Spa is a fantastic beachfront hotel. Rooms are large, well appointed and decorated in contemporary Thai furnishings. Staff are very pleasant. Excellent and reasonably priced food. Will definitely be going back to this hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Ang Thong National Park is well worth a visit.

Great Hotel set out - all rooms are centralised around the main pool which is just beautiful. Great Breakfast spread. The rooms are just amazing and the biggest plus for us was the hotel set out backing along the beach with lots of room to relax with great beach front facilities. The only cons I could mention about the Bandara are the cost of additional leisure facilities such massage etc may be a little pricy compared to those found outside the hotel. The location of this hotel is great but other than the Fishermans Village, there are not many attractions that you could get to by foot. (not a major hurtle given the various modes of transportation or the Bandaras free shuttle service to Chaweng) This was our second stay with the Bandara and there is little to say other than we loved the Bandara! The staff are very friendly, the reception, pools, restaurants and bars are all great. As far are the rooms (we stayed in the Delux) are great, good size with everything you would possibly need in a hotel. The cleaning services are amazing making you so much happier everytime you return back to your room We booked online the second time round and we got a much much better deal than booking direct which makes it great value for money given the comforts you get. As far as location, this is not in the busy part of Koh Samui so ideal for some quite couple or family time but a close walk to Fishermans village where you have all the restaurants to choose from if you want to leave the resort. More than happy to answer any Q's on our experiences and the Bandara or many stays in Koh Samui -
Nightlife Tip : Fishermans Village is only a short walk along the beach away. All the restaurants and bars you would want with a little shopping in between (ideal spot at nigh)

Affordable rate for a lovely hotel Lovely hotel. Beautiful swimming pools and gardens with great beach front location. Located within a short walk along the beach to Bophut village. Great free internet access which was a bonus. Cute beach bag and fresh beach towels provided everyday in your room. Ate at the beach front restaurant but found it to be mediocre for both local Thai and Italian food. Good happy hour at the beach bar every afternoon.

At the Agoda rate, Bandara represents really good value for money. It offers a relaxing stay, with attentive staff and good facilites. However, the food quality is mediocre and very expensive; there are not many budget alternatives nearby, either.

Very good hotel itself is situated on the beach, very beautiful gardens in the hotel, staff excellent. Cleaning really 2 times a day. Excellent breakfast in the hotel for breakfast fresh, natural honey from the hive.

good for family time and if you want to spend a lot of time at the hotel and not visiting. hotel has no specific charm... It's definitely a nice hotel, no real bad points, however it lacks a little something that would make it a really good hotel. For the same price you can have something classier, better, with more charm and better service.
But once again no negative view, it is a good hotel.

location; beach; pool area; staff; service; breakfast. The hotel is very beautiful with a nice location right at the beach. The service of the entire staff was exceptional. They offer a great variety for breakfast. The pool areas are clean and there are plenty of sun chairs also at the beach. The rooms were big and adequate and the garden area was very nice. The service at dinner was ok, took a bit to get the attention of the staff but the food was very good. For our next Thailand trip we will go there again.
Restaurant Tip : Visit the nearby fisherman village with plenty of good restaurants.

Very friendly staff, clean rooms, nice pools and the beach. A little too big hotel for our taste. Nice and clean hotel - comfortable choice.The pool area was really nice and the beach was great. Our deluxe room was clean and big. Bandara was just a little too big hotel for our taste. I liked the gym. The main pool was enough big for exercise swimming.

awesome pools, great amenities the beach sand is pebble-y, rough. also, the cost of food at the hotel was high. We had a wonderfully relaxing time at Bandara. The room was fantastic. The pools were extremely relaxing. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The restaurant was expensive though so we found a place down the beach that was a lot cheaper. However, the beach sand was very grainy. It was unpleasant to walk on for more than just a few minutes. However, I do not think that would deter us from staying there again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : if you leave the hotel and take a right, walk for about 2 minutes and you will get to a small travel agency on the right. the people there were very helpful with planning excursions on / around the island!

Gorgeous pool nice breakfast We stayed here for 2 nights and wished we had stayed more even though the resort itself was quiet. The hotel was lovely with a massive swimming pool and another nearer to the beach. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. there was a coffee machine in the room which we haven't had in any other hotel for the same price. the beach area was very nice too
