Employees are full of hospitality and well-educated. I recommend to spend most of the time with family in this place rather than go out. However, it is expensive place indeed .

The room was really luxurious as was the spa. Getting around was easy with the buggy service available at all hours.

Villa host (Fluk) was wonderfully helpful. He even figured that I was ready for the local food and recommended me a noodle joint that was full of locals. Loved it. Everything was spot on.

Couples Canada, November 11, 2012	Perfect Resort for Honeymoon and Anniversary Ocean View Villa, Personal butler, Rainforest Spa 10 we picked banyan tree after careful selection process, and we were really happy with our choice. from the personal butler, the check-in process, daily activity to house-keeping, it was great experience all the way. after you checked in, your personal butler will give you a cell phone in case you need to call for assistance anywhere in the island anytime. also, housekeeping will clean up the room twice a day, and a souvenir (pastries or pastries) will be offered every night. all the small details make the magic and we are really impressed!!! definitely will go back again in the future! Travel tip: Pick Ocean View Villa instead of the garden view, you won't regret. Also, if you want more privacy, you can pick the 'partially ocean view villa' because there are trees blocking part of the ocean view from your in-villa pool. It's hard for others to see you swimming.

Couples Singapore, September 30, 2012	Excellent Resort and Great Service Comfort, Views, Service 9.3 We arrived at about 2pm at Banyan Tree Samui and was immediately attended to by my Villa Host, Mr. Thep. As our rooms were not ready, we were ushered to the Lobby Lounge to wait. As we were ahead of check-in timing, we could only have the villa ready by 230pm. Our host introduced us to the resort and the dining options. Perhaps it was raining, hence he did not bring us around. He was also attentive to our needs from start till the end of our stay. Service was warm, yet not overwhelming. Unfortunately the Ocean Pool Villa had only a glimpse of the ocean. As we understood, Banyan Tree group is active in conservancy of nature and hence trees were not cut down just to give any villa a good view. We decided to pay for a room upgrade to the Sanctuary Pool Villa. The view is breathtaking (180 degree unblocked view over Lamai Bay), the best among all the resorts I have stayed in. Our host also arranged for some decoration, flower bath, a cake and wine to celebrate the wedding anniversary for me and my wife. Amenities in the room and in the resort was also excellent. Sufficient activities provided for me to stay in for the 3 nights I was there. I felt that food at the resort can improve. Apart from the Samui Fine Dining menu I had at Saffron restaurant, all other meals were just average.

Very well designed. 8.7 The Villa was the best part of the stay. It is a beautiful room that was very well thought out. The shower is excellent. The bed comfortable. Even the curtains were designed to close in such a way as to keep the light out. The A/C was quiet. The deck area was very nice to have meal or just sit outside. The buffet breakfast could be improved. They were not able to keep up with the business levels. Some of the best things would be empty for too long, but overall the breakfast was good. Room service was excellent and the food delivered to you umbrella shaded beach chairs was also very good. I can't wait to go back! Hotel Feature Tip: No reason to leave the resort.
