The big problem in Samui is the extortionate rates that local taxi/motorcycle drivers charge. There is obviously some kind of price-fixing going on. Despite having previously arranged hotel transport, the hotel's minibus failed twice to pick me up in Chawneg town, even after I telephoned to re-confirm my location.
- Hotel Feature Tip : Don't miss the classic cars just outside the main entrance.

Good value for money.
- Travel tip : if you plan to rent a motorbike do it at the hotel reception, as going to town by taxi costs as a day of rental and the prices at the hotel are quite the same than in town.
Great View

Loved it. It has the best view and was still easy to get to Chaweng or Lamai beaches.
- Hotel Feature Tip : Motorbikes are easy to rent and make it easy to get to and from the beach.
Amazing view!!

Superbly situated on top of the hill between Chaweng and Lamai Beaches, from the minute you walk into this resort it is absolutely breathtaking.Fantastic views from our Deluxe seaview balcony (even from the bathroom)and the breakfast, restaurants, this has to be one of the best Resorts we have ever stayed in. We checked out the honeymoon suite for our daughter, amazing with a jacuzzi on the seaside balcony.Even though not on the beach you can take the shuttle bus down to Lamai beach to their sister resort and use their facilities.Do hire a suzuki and trip around the island and across the top where there are a few fantastic restaurants- but make sure you take a map.The Hotel offers a great car hire rate without all the hassle of producing passports etc. to the hire car companies.
