Quiet, the pool villa was good. Incredible staff Great SPA

A/C noisy, no international newspaper, bedsheet not at the level. Not clean at the entrance of the villa. Far from Chaweng

Bhundari is nice, but it's completely surrounded by huge building works at the moment. You will not hear it if you stay by the seafront, but walking anywhere around is horrible at the moment. If you get a taxi or hire a car/bike - then you can go to Chaweng or Choengmon for dinners, you are kind of in a middle between them... The staff was great and very attentive, I use the CLUB upgrade was good free drink from 5h30 to 7h00. A bit far from Chaweng The door was tricky and pince the fingers a couple of times.

The pool villas with a private pool, views from the rooms, friendly staff.

The hotel is located on a very steep slope making walking difficult, isolated location, limited facilities, internet nonexistent.

The biggest drawback to this hotel is its location. You can't walk to town, requiring you to rent a car, motorcycle or take expensive taxis everywhere. The taxis are unmetered so there's a huge argument everytime about how much you pay. The going rate for the 5-10 minute ride into town seems to be around US$10 which seems excessive. Internet access is non-existent despite the staff's claims. The beach is poor with rough sand and limited access. The pool villa that we had was very nice although there was no reading lamp by the bed, no storage for clothes, no chair and other amenities. During the time we were there, there was a lot of construction going on which we were not told about at the time we booked the room.

The Bhundhari is located down the road from the Samui Airport, but far enough away from Chaweng to be peaceful. They allow you to sign out DVDs to watch in your room for free. The grounds are lovely and the view is outstanding! The food is really delicious and has a great variety to choose from. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : You will have to rent a vehicle to get around the island, but it's cheap and well worth the $$. There are so many things to see and do while vacationing in Samui.
